Group Stay
We stayed as a group of 14 (including two infants) for a long weekend. Starting with the positives, the onsite facilities were fantastic and well enjoyed by all, particularly the pool, play area and tennis courts. The set up of the cottage theoretically worked well for our group (although not quite enough seating to all eat together) and the setting is beautiful. It’s in easy reach of the North Norfolk coast.
Unfortunately we did have an issue with our property. Some wood in the courtyard had been treated prior to our stay and caused significant fumes in the living space and outside area for the first couple of days. The owners did try to deal with it by sealing the wood but unfortunately the fumes remained strong and we were unable to use the larger kitchen/living area or the courtyard with the hot tub and apart from on our last night when the fumes had lifted. This had a significant impact on our stay and we would have appreciated the owners checking in on us after it was reported.
