The north of the Moselle department offers many possibilities for visits and excursions. Nearby, you can visit the Mining Museum in Neufchef, the U4 in Uckange. 15 minutes away, the Amnéville leisure complex welcomes you. There you will find, among other things, a zoo, an aquarium, a casino, a thermal centre, wellness areas, restaurants, a small lake, a summer sledging, the possibility of skiing in all seasons, a tree climbing course, a swimming pool, an ice rink, a bowling alley, etc... You can also relax around the lake of La Balastière in Hagondange. 30 minutes away, the beautiful city of Metz awaits you with its cathedral, squares and Pompidou center. You can also walk or cycle along the Moselle in Thionville. In Rodemack, you will discover a fortified town; a fortified castle in Sierck-les-Bains or the Château de Malbrouck in Manderen.
Verdun, infamous, is not far away as well as Lake Madine. In Longwy, a town fortified by Vauban, you will find the Emaux de Longwy.
We are also close to Belgium with the town of Bouillon and its castle, the caves of Han. Luxembourg is very close and worth visiting. Finally, Germany with the city of Saarburg and the impressive viewpoint with a splendid view of the Saar loop are worth a visit.
