"Lovely one-night stay with Denise and Mal who were welcoming and friendly without being intrusive. Large, clean room with a comfortable bed and en suite bathroom. "The real problem is that the spa is not working and that’s the reason why I stayed in the hotel. I should have been notified same way I got a message about how busy is the restaurant and that needs to be booked beforehand."

"Very good location close to the centre of York and next to the city wall. All York sites easily walkable. Good kitchen appliances and utensils. Good size room and comfortable bed. The are no windows that open and I couldn’t find the AC controller."
