“Check-in and check-out were very smooth. The room was spotless and the amenities were excellent, including the well-stocked small fridge with food and snacks. The weather was exceptionally cold during our stay, and unfortunately the small heater wasn’t quite enough to keep the room comfortably warm.”

“Character room, good size with everything you would need. There were a few things that needed refreshing but it was all fine for a short stay. The breakfast was really good, hot and well presented with good coffee/tea. Good value for money and good location for many places to visit.”

“We adored our stay and wish we had more time to spend here. What a wonderful country setting in a traditional B &B. Beautiful chapel views from our room which also overlooked a sweet field with sheep. We were welcomed at the door and bid goodbye personally. “Good price but reflected in the extremely poor state of the rooms and particularly the bathroom. Cracked walls, lights that didn’t work, and an incredibly creaky floor. I really felt for anyone underneath us. Useful location but wouldn’t stay again.”

“Lovely brick building from 1902 retaining all its old charm. Now a modern pub/hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had food that evening which was very good. Wine and beer prices were quite step but that's par for the course nowadays!!! The bedroom was well appointed etc. All in all, a great stay there.”

“Cosy bedroom with ensuite. Love the quiet location and a great pub across the road. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The microwave was a bit smaller than we expected but worked.”

“My husband and I enjoyed our stay. It was worth the price. The room was very nice and clean. Loved the pool and sauna as well. I’d recommend booking with breakfast as some of the rooms doesn’t come with a stove. Over all, it was an amazing experience❤️”

“This is a gorgeous inn in a picture-perfect English village! The only issues I have is that the room for 3 people is quite inadequate in size and furnishings. A couple of hooks to hang clothes, a footstool as the only seating, no drawers and only one folding luggage rack, meaning we had to live out of suitcases on the limited floorspace. The restaurant was fabulous even though it had a very limited and expensive menu, and other options were in nearby towns. We would go back in a heartbeat if...
