Cottage a Felixstowe

“This cottage has all the amenities you would need for a stay in the country and the garden is well fenced. The down side is that it is a fairway out of Stowmarket with no pubs or shops within walking distance so you would need to drive for anything you might need. We stayed here as a base over Christmas as we were visiting family and it suited us very well. The welcome pack was also a very nice touch and we were very pleased with everything.”

“Very comfortable, home from home feel when you walk into Walnut cottage. The owners were really helpful and informative with regards to places to eat and drink. Along with places to visit. Lovely walks along the river and plenty of areas to have a game of fetch with the pooch.”

“A very cosy, comfortable place to stay to explore the surrounding area. Just a few minutes from beaches, local towns and historic places to explore. Lamb Barn had everything we needed for a week's stay and the owners were very helpful and approachable. As others have mentioned the noise from the road was the negative. Dog friendly with an enclosed garden and super dog bean bag that out wee dog loved.”

“Very nice quaint cottage everything you need for a comfortable stay. Bed very comfy. The only downside for me was the very steep narrow stairs but were manageable. The owner was very nice and helpful lovely breakfast basket left in the kitchen with bacon eggs tomatoes bread butter and milk. A fire made in the grate just needed lighting. I had a very pleasant stay would definitely stay there again.”

“The cottage and barn annexe were beautiful. In a lovely setting with a fantastic large secure garden. Well equipped and heated with a great log burner. All contact with the owner was efficient and they were helpful. Would definitely return.”
