“Set in the quiet and bucolic Norfolk countryside, this is a lovely place to stay for a quiet retreat. We stayed in an en-suite cabin with two dogs, we were surrounded by woodland and looked out over a lake, of which there are a few within the site. Alongside the great views, we had a comfortable bed, tea and coffee facilities and a clean and modern en-suite. “The food and staff were lovely, really enjoyed the spa and massages. The only thing was that our room number 21 was right above the restaurant. You could hear the doors slamming as staff go in and out the side doors of the restaurant and the music was audible through the floor. It was disturbing our sleep in the night and early morning hours. ”

“Sian, the landlady is wonderful -- friendly and extremely helpful. Hotel's.com said there are laundry facilities but this is not true. BUT Sian did our laundry for us. We stayed in the annex but no one who was mobility problems, or is tall or heavy should stay there -- it is difficult to maneuver under the low ceilings. ”
