  • The Salty Cribb II is a newly renovated and professionally designed holiday home, with private beach and views of picturesque, Lunenburg. Located on a quiet peninsula, a walk away from The Ovens Park. Just minutes from pubs, restaurants, tourist attractions, beaches and shops, The Salty Cribb features three bedrooms, appointed with two queen, one double and one twin bed. Each with a fireplace. An eat in kitchen with island, separate dining room, front deck, cozy living room and water views. The rear lot includes a forest view and natural stone fire pit. It’s the perfect place to enjoy all that beautiful South Shore Nova Scotia has to offer.

    Included in your stay are: high speed internet, all the kitchen staples, toiletries, board games, and curated guide to local attractions.

The house was very clean upon arrival. The ocean front view is fantastic, and it is a short walk to a more sandy beach to walk on. This location is more rural, which was excellent for our style of getaway. There was lots of space and we loved the mornings on the front deck.

Time at Salty Cribb11, was just what I needed after emergency surgery two days after my arrival in NS My sister flew in from NF to take care of me .The ocean views from my room at night were beautiful.The front deck was our place to enjoy our coffee and read .A short ride to all inviting and shopping areas .Without hesitation I would stay here again ,Thank You to our hosts

A beautiful old renovated home with a gorgeous view. The weather didn't really cooperate for us but this home made up for it. We were all very comfortable here and enjoyed looking at all the unique items, books and antiques all throughout the home. Easy check in with our individual code and detailed communication from the hosts. Everything was great.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay... great location from which to explore area.... spending some precious time with family... view onto Lunenburg Bay was amazing... especially appreciated how easy it was to communicate with the owners - they responded in a very timely fashion... highly recommended... just to be precise - it is close to a 25 minute drive to the town of Lunenburg

A fully equipped kitchen. Bedrooms had beautiful ocean views. Beds were comfortable and plenty of towels/linens. It was close to other places - Lunenburg and beaches. Local store had a variety of items including a little cafe. We saw deer in the backyard. Great place to stay.

Winter getaway.

Lovely house and location by the sea, my husband likes to look out to sea and view the Birds, he seemed to like it. Very peaceful place. Would recommend it!

Comfortable charming house

Our family of 5 (and a baby) enjoyed our stay at the Salty Cribb II. The house is comfortable, well stocked, and a short distance to a great little store. The owner responded quickly when we did have a question.

Family girls getaway

Such an incredible place!!!!! Loved everything about the house and area!!! Walking distance to beach, finding sea glass, seeing dolphins and seals in the cove, close to Lunenburg ( which you can see across the cove), watching Anne with an E at night on the tv, I could go on and on about how wonderful this place is… If I ever come back this is where I’m staying!!!!

Salty Crib is a gift!

The home is beautifully decorated, and filled with so many object d'arts to enjoy. Everything has been restored or updated with style. We stayed for one week and loved our time there and can't say enough about this lovely home by the sea and our gracious hosts.

We loved the feel of the space, and the town. Evenings were spent relaxing with the fantastic antique books there at the Salty Cribb II, magically transporting us back in time. So much history, so much local great food, awesome sunrises and sunsets. We enjoyed gorgeous water views, with several days of local yacht racing. We experienced delightful encounters with wonderful people. The beds were nice and comfy and the house is well appointed. We had everything we could have wished for. Thank you guys!

We loved this property! Not only was the house gorgeous, well-maintained, clean, and tastefully decorated, but the location was stunning and peaceful, and in proximity to many fun locations and activities. Short but sweet

Loved watching the bay. Saw seals and maybe some porpoise. Loved the decoration details in the house. Kids loved the old books and antique treasures around the house. Kitchen comfortable for cooking. Master bed perfect for sleeping.

Gorgeous house and view

We absolutely loved this house and location! Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. The house is beautifully decorated with all the amenities you need and then some. The view out front is spectacular even in the fog! My 8 year loved climbing the rocks and collecting shells and sea glass. Thank you everything and if we are back tho way, we will definitely stay there again!
