It did have a weird smokey/old odor when we entered the room but went away when we got use to the smell. The outside and parking lot looks rough. The kids enjoyed the swimming pool. The breakfast was ideal for the family. It was an easy grab and go. ”

“This place goes downhill every single year. We stay with a group for Christmas for the last 15 years. Wallpaper is peeling, you are charged for a “resort fee” but the pools aren’t even always working. Dining is subpar. Rooms are very dated and getting worse every year. I think it’s time for our family to move on from thumper pond. ”
