“Very spacious flat: a couple could easily live here permanently. Kitchen is well equipped, sofas are comfortable and host was extremely responsive - the washing machine didn’t work and was replaced within 24 hours. Location is brilliant, right in the centre of the city. Very pleased indeed.”

“J’étais en séjour comme chercheur invité avec un bureau au sud de la ville et des rencontres sur le domaine universitaire. Tout était marchable depuis cet emplacement, avec la piste cyclable et le vélo passant devant l’immeuble. Deux petites épiceries et une boulangerie au coin de la rue, puis tous les commerces de commodité et le centre historique à 15 minutes de marche. Appartement très propre et pratique, tel que vu en ligne. Propriétaire sympathique et avenant, facile à rejoindre au besoin....

“Nous avons adoré notre séjour aux Baleines. L’appartement est un petit bijou, aménagé avec un goût parfait, confortable et d’un calme étonnant en plein centre de la ville. Magnifique vue sur les arbres depuis le séjour. On se croirait presque à la campagne.”

“The Victor Hugo is ideally situated in Grenoble--not far from restaurants and shops and not a long walk from the train station. During our stay it was incredibly hot. We were a group of 5 people, hence needing to use all three bedrooms, but the apartment only had two fans. Unfortunately, the first night, some of us were super uncomfortable. The next day, the hosts were able to get us an additional fan, which was incredibly kind of them! Unfortunately, it was not very powerful and didn't help...

“The apartment was very poorly cleaned. The main door was not working, nor was the bathroom door. The wardrobe doors were broken. There were deficiencies everywhere, it is in much poor state as in the pictures. On top of that, the neighborhood was not ideal and we felt unsafe at night.”
