  • Have a dream oceanfront getaway at beautiful Lummi Bay! Relax on the deck or beach as you watch the early golden sun come up over Mt Baker on a clear morning! Take a kayak or the canoe out for a paddle in the waters of Lummi Bay or just enjoy watching the view change as the tide comes in or goes out! (Way out!)
    When the tide goes out, the water is way out and the bay floor is visible, which brings in a lot of different wildlife (birds such as blue heron, eagles, etc.) looking for a bite of clam, etc.

    This cozy two-bedroom cabin is fully equipped for your vacation. Tastefully renovated with new furniture and kitchen equipment.

    Grab a bundle of firewood at the local convenience store.
    Dog friendly ($20 fee each) 2 max. See pet fee at booking.
    Note: BBQ put away for Nov-March

This was one of the loveliest places I've rented - thoughtfully equipped, including a complete kitchen(!) beautifully decorated and spacious, and with heart-stopping views over the bay to Mount Baker. We had trouble accessing the property, and the stove went on the blink - the property host couldn't have been more responsive in addressing the issues, both of which I believe were one offs that in no way diminish my five star rating and enthusiastic recommendation of this place,

First time staying at the property. Came into town to visit daughter who lives in Bellingham. We normally stay at a hotel but won’t again. What a wonderful little cabin. I was expecting a tiny place but it was the perfect size for the three of us. I can’t think of a thing we lacked in our 6 day stay. The views were breathtaking!! We will be back!

Great patio and amazing view of Baker. Great for drinks in the evening and coffee in the morning. Very dog friendly. We enjoyed our stay.

Cozy Beach Cottage

Very pleasant stay at the Shalom cottage. Enjoyed the stormy beach weather right outside the door. It was clean, bright, comfortable and the kitchen was like being at home. We had a restful weekend.

The cottage is clean, adorable, well appointed, with the most spectacular view!! My parents were visiting from out of state and it was the perfect weekend getaway for them to experience the best of the PNW coast. I really appreciated that the cottage is dog friendly, and my dogs really enjoyed our walks on the beach. Fair warning though- the tide goes out quite far, and the exposed sand gets REALLY embedded in dog fur! Luckily there is a hose on the side of the house, and I'm glad I brought some doggy shampoo and extra dog towels. To stay clean stick to the pebble shore.

It was an awesome stay for us and our pets. We went on many walks even to the marina and enjoyed the peacefulness all around. The views were fantastic! We even enjoyed being tucked inside during a really hard rain storm! Thank you so much for sharing this very cute, comfortable and quaint home for us to enjoy! Amazing Views

Sandy Point Shalom Cabin was perfect fit for our visit. We had a warm and clear weekend so the views were breathtaking. Everything we needed was provided. I would highly recommend this property as a place to land at the end of a busy day or to anyone who wants to relax and enjoy amazing sunrises and sunsets.

Beach night away

We were driving around whatcom county exploring parts of Washington we had never seen before. This was the perfect stay in that journey. Had a beautiful sunset and double rainbow after a rain storm.

Bellingham waterfront.

We were visiting our son in Bellingham but wanted to be on the beach too. This is the perfect location! 20 minutes to the heart of Bellingham with the relaxation of the beach. Everything was wonderful. It is right on the beach. I’m sure the summer is amazing and hope we can visit again to enjoy all of the water toys.
