Best fernie place yet
Have been staying annually in fernie for 20 years and this was pretty much the best experience.A gorgeous unit with incredibly high ceilings. Super well laid out if you plan to eat in as cooks and loungers were all in the same huge room.The kitchen was really really well stocked. They even had a good selection of spices.Rooms were great. Big. If there was one weird thing it was that all showers were in three bedrooms leaving two bedrooms having to go into someone elses bedroom to shower. Not a big deal but good to know.Many have mentioned the train across the street. I heard it the first night but its amazing how quickly you get used to it and it dissappears.The location is perfect with stores and restaurants all 5 to 10 min walk. We typically stay on the road to the hill but we really enjoyed everyone being able to go out on foot whenever they wanted.We are already planning next years trip in the same unit.
