“We enjoyed our recent stay in a ground floor, twin bed, en-suite room. There was handy parking, a friendly welcome, a lovely clean and comfortable room, and delicious breakfast. Our hosts were friendly, helpful and welcoming, the room was warm and cosy, and we would be happy to stay again.”

“Fabulous room, very modern with TV, tea, coffee and biscuits, iron and ironing board, hairdryer - in fact everything you could possibly need. Bathroom was a 'wet room' with a super shower. Breakfast was enormous with plenty of tea or coffee. All the staff were extremely helpful and couldn't do enough to assist. Well worth staying here if visiting the area.”

“The full cooked breakfast was amazing, i couldn't fault it, single room was small but clean and comfy. very friendly owners , and 2 lovely dogs who came to greet me. Overall i enjoyed my stay, and if im ever back in the area i would definately stay again. ”

“Superb pub and rooms steeped in local history - Robert Plant started his career here playing blues guitar aged 15 in the upstairs blues club (sadly not there anymore but the history is palpable). The pub is a treasure trove of history, and so well preserved, from the original staircases and ceramic tiling on the walls, to the original bar. My room was just sheer excellence. Comfy bed, every amenity laid on, crispy linen and a boiling hot shower. Sadly the pub no longer serves food other than...

“From beginning to end, we had a great stay. Member of staff at check in was friendly and professional and when he noticed that my partner used a walking stick he moved our room to a much closer, user friendly room without being asked. We were celebrating our 53rd wedding anniversary and when he found that out, he arrived at our room with a card from all the staff. Lovely touch. All the staff were very friendly, efficient and enthusiastic. Our room was spacious and clean. Very quiet too. ...
