“Beautiful property with a stunning view. It was a great weekend escape and I absolutely love that it was a dog friendly stay. The owner is incredibly responsive. We did have an issue getting stuck / sliding down the driveway due to ice and snow. Luke replied right away and had someone come plow and bring salt. “Nice little "cabin" it is a touch outdated and could use a deep cleaning but we were able rest and relax. The hot tub was a great relaxation, even with the main road right there, there was not much traffic and could hear the sounds of nature easy. Overall good stay.”

“Loved the little cabin tucked up overlooking the Mississippi! We enjoyed the hot tub and relaxed all weekend reading and watching movies! Perfect relaxing getaway. The train came by often but was not bad at allwe kind of looked forward to it!”

“We had a nice stay at Black Bear Cabin. Short distance to tourist attractions. Hot tub was enjoyed and the beds were comfortable. Some things that might help improve the stay for others would be: dish towels for easier kitchen clean up, ability to plug in deck lighting, hooks or shelving in rooms for towels and clothes, end tables in the queen bed rooms, and fresh batteries for basement remote. The kitchen had all the tools we needed for cooking. Great place for meditating and quality time. ”

“My daughter and I booked this for a quiet birthday trip for her birthday. The cabin was wonderful! Comfy beds, well stocked kitchen and a wonderful game room with a pool table! It was too cold for the pool and we didn’t utilize the hot tub but it looked fabulous! Would stay here again!! Cindy”
