Welcome to Madu's Countryhouse Cerchiaia, an authentic 19th-century Tuscan farmhouse surrounded by the nature of the hills overlooking the Arno Valley, just 20 km from Florence.
Set within a natural park and embraced by the quiet of the countryside, this place preserves the timeless charm of the most authentic Tuscany.

Here, days unfold slowly among golden light, fresh air and wide views over the gentle Tuscan hills, where nature, silence and landscape become part of the experience.

The swimming pool, nestled in the greenery of the natural park, is one of the most special features of the property. Open from June to October and reserved exclusively for guests, it offers beautiful open views over the valley and surrounding hills.
Around the pool there is a relaxing sunbathing area with loungers, and guests can also enjoy a small Pool House, designed as a convenient space to change and prepare before or after a swim. On warm summer days it becomes the perfect place to cool off, read in the shade or simply relax surrounded by nature.

Guests will have access to the entire ground floor of the farmhouse. The heart of the house is the spacious library-living room, a characterful space with walls of books, a piano, fireplace and TV. The antique terracotta floors and vaulted ceiling tell the story of the farmhouse, while natural light makes the space warm and welcoming. It is the perfect place to read, listen to music or enjoy quiet evenings.

The rustic kitchen, fully equipped, is designed for those who love cooking and sharing convivial moments. It features a gas cooktop, oven, refrigerator with freezer, kettle and coffee machine.
The large solid wood table invites slow breakfasts or relaxed dinners prepared with local products and accompanied by a good Tuscan wine.

Next to the kitchen is the dining room, elegant and authentic, with a table for eight guests and paintings on the walls. The stone vaulted ceiling and terracotta floor create a refined and timeless atmosphere, perfect for turning every dinner into a special moment.

The house offers four bedrooms, bright and furnished in classic Tuscan style. Two double bedrooms provide a warm and relaxing atmosphere with views over the surrounding park. The other two bedrooms feature single beds and maintain the same authentic character of the farmhouse, with wooden furnishings, traditional details and pleasant natural light. One of these rooms is decorated in Indian style, with authentic furniture and traditional textiles that give the room a unique and exotic atmosphere, creating a fascinating meeting between Tuscany and the East.

The spaces are designed to comfortably accommodate families or groups of up to eight guests.

The farmhouse sits at around 300 meters above sea level, immersed in the natural landscape of the hills. Thanks to its position and the thick stone walls typical of traditional Tuscan homes, the interiors remain naturally cool even during summer, and in the evening the temperature drops pleasantly thanks to the breeze from the valley. For guests' comfort, the house is equipped with fans in the bedrooms, while one of the double bedrooms also features air conditioning.

The three bathrooms combine modern comfort with traditional materials. One features an elegant ceramic sink set on a dark stone countertop and a glass walk-in shower, while the others offer spacious showers and refined finishes, maintaining a style in harmony with the architecture of the house.

Outside, the farmhouse opens onto a large garden with a furnished terrace. Here guests can enjoy breakfast outdoors, have lunch under the umbrella or relax with an aperitivo at sunset while the hills turn golden in the evening light.

Among the most charming spaces of the house there is also the winter garden, a veranda with a beautiful glass and wrought-iron arch that opens directly onto the park. The terracotta floor, natural light and plants create a bright and relaxing space, perfect for reading, working or enjoying breakfast in any season.

Madu's Countryhouse Cerchiaia is a place where you can experience Tuscany in an authentic way: surrounded by nature, silence and beauty, yet only a short distance from Florence and its artistic treasures.

Cerchiaia is located about 5 km from the A1 motorway exit (Milan–Naples), at around 300 meters above sea level among the hills of the Valdarno. Its location is ideal for exploring Tuscany, with many of the region’s main destinations easily reachable by car:

Florence: about 35 minutes (by car or by train from Incisa station)
The Mall Luxury Outlet (Gucci, Prada and other brands): 6 km, about 12 minutes
Siena: 45 minutes
Arezzo: 40 minutes
Pisa: about 60 minutes
Chianti wineries: less than 40 minutes

Guests have exclusive access to the entire ground-floor apartment of the farmhouse, the private garden and the swimming pool. Free parking is available inside the property.

The Mall Outlet is only 6 km away. Incisa train station is 5 km away, with direct trains to Florence in about 35 minutes.

Guests will have access to the entire ground floor of the farmhouse.
The owner lives on the upper floor of the same building, but guests enjoy completely independent access and full privacy, with separate entrances and no shared areas. The owner is available if needed but will only interact if requested.

The property is open from June 8th to the end of September.

As the house is surrounded by countryside, it is not uncommon to spot wildlife such as hares or roe deer nearby, especially during the quiet hours of the early morning or at sunset. Likewise, as in any country house, you may occasionally encounter some insects. This is simply part of the authentic experience of staying in nature.

The owner lives on the upper floor of the farmhouse, with a completely separate entrance, ensuring guests full privacy during their stay.
