  • Di proprietà e gestione privata, Greenwich Cottage offre alloggi splendidamente arredati sulla splendida costa del North Yorkshire e vicino alle estese spiagge di Filey Bay. La struttura vanta 4 camere da letto (2 matrimoniali, 2 doppie - tutte con TV a schermo piatto / DVD), 2 bagni, guardaroba al piano inferiore e una sala da pranzo separata. BT Wifi ad alta velocità, BT TV (con BT TV + box - pausa, registrazione ecc.) - BT Sport, Bambini + Canali, Sky Movies e Netflix e una TV 4K Ultra HD da 50 pollici nel salotto sono tutti inclusi nel prezzo del noleggio. Greenwich Cottage è perfetto per il gruppo familiare più numeroso o per due famiglie in vacanza insieme.

    NB - Abbiamo deciso di chiamare la nostra proprietà "Greenwich Cottage" - "Greenwich" è anche il nome di questo stile di cottage a The Bay.

    Il cottage è situato nel prestigioso villaggio turistico "The Bay" e gli ospiti possono usufruire gratuitamente della piscina interna riscaldata, della sauna, del bagno turco e di altre strutture ricreative, nonché del parco prato vicino alla proprietà. I nostri ospiti possono anche seguire la strada privata e il sentiero per 15-20 minuti a piedi fino alle 5 miglia di spiaggia sabbiosa di Filey Bay. The Bay ha anche una propria casa pubblica che serve cibo e bevande di buona qualità, un bar / bistrot (gli orari di apertura possono essere limitati in inverno) e una farmacia che fornisce alcuni prodotti di base. Greenwich Cottage condivide un ampio giardino con erba con proprietà vicine e c'è anche un campo da bocce nelle vicinanze. All'interno della baia sono disponibili anche campi da tennis, tiro con l'arco, noleggio biciclette e altre attività.
    NB Si prega di controllare la sezione Tariffe per periodi minimi di permanenza - di solito 3 o 7 notti a seconda della stagione. Nella stagione di punta 7 notti i soggiorni dovrebbero iniziare di venerdì o sabato. Al di fuori dell'alta stagione possiamo cercare di essere flessibili.

Short break

Its been a great break away. Great property well equipped and ideal for what you need away from home. Grandkids loved it but I need another break now from them..... only kidding. Would highly recommend and will return next year.

Filey for a week

The property was exactly as advertised. The fact that it was on a site with its own dog friendly Pub, Gym with pool and convenience store made it all the more appealing. There were six of us plus a dog and we had plenty of room. We never had the opportunity to use the outside seating area and BBQ due to the weather but noticed that the space outside was clean and well maintained. The beach is a short walk from the cottage and we walked along it into Filey...our dog loved it. The BT TV box signal was a bit hit and miss but apart from that we had a very enjoyable time. We would definitely visit again.

Fantastic place to stay everything you need under one roof and more, very relaxing and would definitely recommend as a centre for touring the area. My only bit of extra advice is not to use the John Paul Jones on site pub to dine as it is overpriced and poor quality food.

Great escape

This is our fourth time at the Bay staying in the same type of property and this was by far the best! The house was spotless and the communication from the owner was brilliant. Would definitely recommend and we will be returning again as soon as we can.

Family weekend

Property just as described, everything you need for a short break. Nick was easy to communicate with and a problem re the cleaning was quickly responded to and dealt with. The Bay site is well organised with decent facilities, John Paul pub a bit of a let down.

Had a great week at this property. House had everything that was needed. Lots of room for our large family but cosy. Great communication so we came prepared with games. Couldn’t ask for more!! Perfect.

Have just arrived back after a very relaxing short break in Greenwich Cottage. Communication with Nick was great, from the booking process through to our visit. The cottage was very well equipped and comfortable with plenty of room for us all. The cottage was ideally located to visit Filey, Scarborough and Whitby and it was a 15 minute walk to the beach. We ate at the onsite restaurant one night which was fine, if a little busy, but the rest of the evenings we cooked in the well equipped kitchen. This was followed by a few family games which were supplied, uno went down particularly well! All in all we had a great stay, and wouldn't hesitate to return.

Lovely house, child friendly location

Seven of us, four adults and three children, spent four lovely nights at Greenwich Cottage, 27 The Parade. The cottage is in a brilliant location - 5 minutes to the pub and swimming pool, 15 minutes to the beach. The weather was mixed, but didn't stop us walking to Filey along the beach, playing in the park and exploring the area. The cottage was perfect for us - clean, warm, well equipped, really good communal spaces and bedrooms. The back of the cottage overlooks a grassed area which looks perfect for summer barbecues. We all agreed that we would love to return for another visit - in fact we didn't want to come home!

Great clean house. We stayed with 5 teenagers who stayed upstairs while we stayed downstairs. Worked very well. 5 mins to the beach. 45 mins along the beach to Filey. Very good communication with the owner Definitely looking to stay here again

Lovely house in perfect surroundings.

This is our second stay at this property. We love it! The beds are so comfortable and we have never seen any towels bigger or fluffier than those provided! This property caters for everything you need and is within a 10 minute walk of the beautiful beach. The on-site amenities are great but would recommend Hunmanby for pubs, butchers, deli etc. The Piebald Inn (Hunmanby) is a definite must if you stay here. Communication with the owners is fantastic. Can not recommend this place highly enough!

Lovely place

The house is a fantastic base to holiday from. Clean (ish) and very spacious. Shower heads were full of timescale, skirting boards had not been dusted in a while and j don't think anybody has considered cleaning under the sofa or down the side of the cushions. We had to hunt for one of the remotes for the tv and then found it down the side of one of the sofa cushions. There is everything you could want or need in the kitchen. And the bedrooms are spacious with comfy beds. The area is lovely for taking the dog for a walk, not so much for the fishing though. It's virtually non existent with the ponds not looked after properly. On-site security were fantastic when I had to get an ambulance to take my Uncle to hospital part way through the holiday. The John Paul Jones pub is not bad for a meal if you can't be bothered cooking. Limited menu, but nice food. Bayside kitchen is a bit pricey, but still nice. The walk to the beach is quite long and it'll take you 20 minutes to get there but 3 hours to get back because of the steepness of the incline, especially if pushing a buggy and carrying a 3 year old too!!! All in all, it was a really good holiday.

Perfect for large groups and families

Lovely property, with everything we needed and more! Approx 10-15 minute walk to a lovely quiet beach. Good amenities on site including a pool, arcade room, pub and Italian restaurant. The house was well kept, clean and tidy. Rooms were just the right size and beds were comfy. Well stocked with all we needed and a good base for visiting Filey, Scarborough, Bridlington and York. Already talking about visiting again next year.

Spacious and well equipped property on a great site

Really enjoyed our stay at this fabulous complex which is really well laid out with great facilities and in close proximity to the beach and within easy reach of other coastal towns and rural areas. Would highly recommend this complex to anyone considering staying there. The property we stayed in was spacious, comfortable and very well equipped, a real home from home. The site was very quiet and peaceful at night.
