“I arrived at the hotel very late night and tired, and I had to wake up early for my 8:00 a.m. flight. While walking barefoot in the room, I felt something sharp under my foot — it was a piece of nail that a previous guest had cut and left on the floor, which clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. It was obvious the room was not clean, but since I needed to rest, I decided to mention it at the reception before leaving. “So much better than I expected. The bar area, restaurant and huddle areas were all so beautifully done and the food and drink lprices were very reasonable. Plenty of electric car charging available. All staff we encountered were helpful, polite and friendly. Rooms very comfortable and modern. Will definitely book again next time we stay in Loughborough.”

“Young gentleman at reception was very polite and helpful. The room at first appeared clean and fresh but later realised the bathroom was old and worn. The basin showed signs of wear and tear and discoloured looking very unhygienic as was the shower. Very disappointed unable to open balcony door for fresh air as the room soon became stuffy. There was a sign on the door stating 'broken do not open'.”
