“The cottage was perfect for 2 people. Great location to shops, food, the beach and Peninsula State Park. The pool wasn’t open for the season yet but it looked very nice. Note no on-site laundry but there is in Sister Bay which is a short drive. Amenities were very good and had everything we needed. Would stay here again for sure!”

“Property- lovely, clean, ample room for a group. Disappointed with a few aspects of our stay. First night - could not get in. Host tried to remotely fix the issue; ultimately we had to wait outside for 20 min for them to come access a garage to let us in. We learned it had been a problem with the previous guest & that they had gotten in through an open window. We were advised to leave the house unlocked if we went out because they would be with their grandchildren the next day & unavailable....

“The house is overall excellent. The couch is the only soft seating and it shows. Thankfully this is an easy fix, with either a replacement or cushion inserts. An additional love seat or a couple of comfortable chairs would be a great addition. A few food storage containers for guest use would also be welcome. We had a slight issue with the key lock battery beeping because the battery died, which woke us up one morning, but I was able to use a knife to unscrew it and replace the batteries -...

“The manager John was cordial and very helpful whenever needed. The location in downtown Fish Creek is outstanding. Property needs a little updating to access its full potential. The photos need to show the views outdoors and location.”

“The Whistling Swan is close to everything in the heart of Fish Creek, so the location is ideal for walking. Loved being two blocks from the lake, park, beach and marina. The Inn has such huge potential but needs some TLC. The room was comfortable and overall clean. The carpets in the room and the main stairway need cleaning. There are virtually no amenities, thus the 3 star rating. Some upgrades such as a larger TV, softer towels, a lighted make-up mirror, upgraded hairdryer, and bathroom...
