“Great old building in design and common area furnishings are appropriate with plenty of character. As for the room: Sure, the building is old and one doesn't expect a big room, but ours was too small; there was about one foot of space on two sides of the bed. Space to leave one suitcase open, but not two. Bathroom was small, as was the sink. The major problem in the room, though, was the owner's insistence on a period bed that required one to pole vault into it. There was a two-step stair left...

“the room was very noisy, both from the windows and from the room's door. A lot of noise come from the corridors, when people walking or talking. the most isolated place was the bathroom.”

“Beautiful property with staff that are excellent examples of top hospitality. Germany and Sienna (bartender-my apologies if I have missed your name), were gracious and accommodating when my granddaughter and I were desperate for a late night snack. Thank you!”

“Our one night stay was perfect for what we needed. The room was spacious and very nice. The bathroom has an interesting arm hole in the glass partition of the tub that you really can't access the pull knob on the drain to turn on the shower head, but it was fine other than that. We will definitely stay here again when the time calls, and hopefully we can utilize the bar next time as that looked very nice.”
