We only stayed a night for a rest on a long drive. The place is great for families - plenty of beds. I wish we came when the weather was a bit warmer, because the outside gazebo /table looked like a great place to cookeat breakfast.

I was very surprised at how the place looked and smelled after reading the many 10/10 reviews. The outside was not well maintained, there was a couch in the front yard and junk laying on the side and back of house. When you open the door, you are hit with a very strong deodorizer smell. We found 8 or more and had to put them outside. Two of the biggest rooms had french doors with windows, no privacy. On a positive note, the owner/host did communicate well and the house was clean.

The host was very welcoming and helpful with whatever we needed assistance with. The home was perfect for a small get together with family. It was very clean and the beds comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked for meal prep. It was great having two bathrooms! Lovely, eclectic decor! We would stay there again when in the area.

It was raining for the duration of our stay, and Jose and Alma Luz's warm and welcoming space was a port in the storm. It was clean and comfortable, with interesting artifacts and decor, a working fireplace and a covered back patio gazebo. Communication was excellent and timely. Checking-in and checking-out was a breeze. Thanks again to our hosts!

This is a great place to stay! We arrived Friday evening for a Saturday wedding and we are so glad we stayed here instead of a hotel. It was very clean and very comfortable. Our host Jose was very friendly and kind. I would give it 6 stars if I could!

Jose was an excellent host, very friendly and responsive to all questions asked and in a timely manner. The property was perfect for our needs, very clean, with a large spacious floor layout. Private rooms allowed for personal space. Latest media technology made watching Sat football games very easy. Thanks Jose for a great stay, looking forward to book it again when I’m in the area.

Wonderfully responsive and accommodating host. Property was clean and spacious with a nice outdoor deck. Excellent value. Home is built into a hill, so apartment is mostly basement with limited direct sun/ventilation. It was fine for a couple of nights, but maybe something to consider if you're coming for a longer stay.

I was coming to fishkill to celebrate my birthday and I was really excited to check out this vrbo. Check in was super easy, the place was very easy to find. It was beautiful and just as pictured in the listing. Jose was responsive and very helpful. The kitchen was clean and well maintained, albeit a bit small for 7 people. The beds were comfy, ample linens were provided, and the rooms were very cool when the air con was turned on. I would recommend this vrbo to anyone looking in fishkill and would return here any future trips to fishkill.

Right at home

Home is filled with character. Plenty of room for my party of four. Back covered porch was the main space we gatheres with full foliage. Kitchen could use some serving bowls for salads and such. Jose was extremely communicative which i greatly appreciated

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The location was perfect for where we were going each day. The place was very clean. We could tell a lot of thought went in to making it comfortable and entertaining. We weren't so good at using the technology, but for those who know how to push all the right buttons, I'm sure it was a great added bonus.We truly felt as if we were guests in someone's home. You do hear noise from above, but no more than you would hear living in an apartment building or staying in a hotel. The kitchen was fully stocked and there were plenty of towels and extra blankets.
