Nascosto in una comunità serena circa dieci minuti a sud del centro di Flagstaff, il Kona Cabin è un luogo ideale per un breve ritiro nel fine settimana o una vacanza prolungata. Con una bella e grande patio esterno, l'intera famiglia può godere l'aria pulita e frizzante dei monti e una serata sotto le stelle, seduti attorno al firepit gas.

Un greatroom accogliente accoglie gli ospiti al loro ingresso nella casa. Con soffitti a volta, ampie finestre e arredi confortevoli, sentire come a casa non appena camminano attraverso la porta. Appena fuori dalla sala da pranzo è una cucina completamente attrezzata con elettrodomestici in acciaio inossidabile, ripiani in granito e tutto il necessario per cucinare un pasto delizioso. Appena fuori la cucina è un ponte con una griglia all'aperto dove è possibile trascorrere i pomeriggi estivi preparando la cena dopo una lunga giornata di esplorare tutto ciò che la zona ha da offrire.

La cabina Kona dispone di quattro camere da letto e due bagni e mezzo distribuiti su tre piani. Due delle camere sono dotate di letti king size e due letti queen size funzione. Una divertente sala TV al piano di sotto e una sala giochi con giochi da tavolo, film e un sistema Wii sono perfetti per coloro che sono alla ricerca di una vacanza rilassante in giro per casa. La cabina di Kona è il luogo ideale da visitare durante l'esplorazione di tutto Northern Arizona e Flagstaff hanno da offrire, compreso l'accesso al quartiere di terreni forestali e sentieri che lo rendono facile per godere di una rilassante passeggiata nel bel paese di alta nord dell'Arizona.

Sarete a pochi minuti da I-17, I-40, e una varietà di ristoranti e negozi. L'Arizona Snowbowl un breve mezz'ora di auto, e offre sci di classe mondiale in un resort per famiglie. Una delle sette meraviglie del mondo, il Grand Canyon, è poco più di un'ora di macchina a nord, fornendo alcuni dei paesaggi più belli del mondo. Plenty of space for the six of us adults. Two full bathrooms and one half bath. Beats the price of a hotel. Little bit out of Flagstaff. Quiet area except for the occasional airplane taking off from the nearby airport - certainly not a detraction in the least. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. House was clean. Didn’t use the hot tub, but it, too, looked clean. House was comfortable. Could not control the thermostat - would liked to have turned the heat off completely and saved our host a little money - but the house stayed well within the acceptable comfort range anyway.

Week long stay

This was an exceptionally large home, which was needed. Note on linen closet stated "not for guests". Extra towels were needed Toilet on main level very slow to flush, it was plunged on Friday every time it was used.

Great house/cabin in quiet neighborhood

We had a short stay but it was spectacular. Great place for family stay after visiting the Grand Canyon. All amenities were as expected but maybe bring a couple extra blankets if your warm blooded :-), plenty of room but cozy and nice areas to hang out together. Nice updated bathrooms and great kitchen, would definitely stay again

Nice place for a few days

Nice spot, know this, the beds are covwred with inexpensive hospital grade mattress protectors, these cause excessive heat and make noise everytime you move. The downstairs bathroom was inoperable. The outside area was wonderful and we wish we could have enjoyed it.

Went for our son NAU graduation, way better than a hotel. The house was beautiful,clean, & everything that was on the listing right on point. Beautiful location in the mountains of Flagstaff,Az, short drive to NAU. Beautiful neighborhood that this house is at. I would definitely love to book this again.

Disgusting Property

Dishes have clearly not been washed since who knows when. Grease covered pots and pans. Broken dishwasher, broken microwave, broken cook top, filthy property, completely run down and uncared for. Spider eggs on ceiling of basement. Cob webs everywhere. Water from roof melts and freezes on back patio, which is a slip and fall hazard. No salt provided. Heat returns to 58 degrees even when it's snowing out. Don't waste your money on this falsely advertised property. Completely disgusting. Hot tub is a joke because it sits under the patio where nasty water drops right onto you. Stay anywhere else but here. Complete scam.

Summer Weekend Stay

Great property location and interesting house layout with 4 bedrooms, 2 very spacious, 2 smaller. Very steep property. Lots of steep stairs in the house, front yard/driveway, and backyard. The backyard had 8+ well used outdoor chairs and a propane gas fire pit. The upstairs deck (at kitchen/ground level) was convenient as no up and down the stairs to the lower level back yard was needed. This deck was covered in owl poop and 1+ owls have nested above the deck and were actively creating a mess on the deck while we were there. we tried to wash the poop off the deck but no luck. There is no privacy in the backyard or on the deck as there are neighbors in every direction right on top of you with dogs, collapsing fences, tarps, debris, etc in their yards. The kitchen is centrally located, but needs work. There is the bare minimum of dishes/bowls/utensils, no tupperware, no saran wrap/foil, no spices/oil, no garbage bags, no dishwasher detergent, no paper towels, etc. *Bring every little thing you will need for yourself.* The appliances were also an issue. The oven barely works and is very slow to heat. The microwave is about to die and makes a very loud unusual sound when running. The fridge/freezer ice machine was not working and the water sprayed out onto the floor at a sharp angle. Only two of the four burners on the stove top seemed to work. Dishwasher door hinge allows the door to fall to the ground. The master bedroom was very spacious and had everything you would need with a nice bathroom en suite. the downstairs room was as well. The two middle level rooms were smaller but had the basics and comfortable bedding. The overall cleanliness of the house was uncomfortably unclean. The house was dusty, floors dirty, old stained carpets, crumbs/hair on/in/under couches, old flat pillows, hair and dirt in bathrooms, etc. In general the house needs a through deep clean and some upgrades to make the house more comfortable, especially during COVID. The fees for this house were high given the cleanlilness of the house in particular. There was a $50/dog fee. The check in/out times were not great 5 pm and 10 am. They charge you $50 for an extra 2 hour delay in check out time which seemed excessive given how unaccommodating the check in/out times were. Overall the property meets the minimum needs of a weekend stay in the pines. We enjoyed our trip, and very few of the issues listed above had a large impact to the weekend, but rather were inconveniences.

Flagstaff Summer Break from the Heat

Kona Cabin is in a quiet neighborhood - no sidewalks but still walkable with dogs and close to hiking at Pumphouse Wash. Fenced yard is great for pets. Kitchen could use some TLC (microwave is loud, stove/oven display panel does not work), and water pressure and hot water are tricky. WiFi goes out periodically (best fix was connecting to HotSpot on my iPhone). Close to downtown Flagstaff (15-20 minute drive). Relaxing stay and nice escape from heat of the Valley.

Escape from the Heat

This cabin met the needs of our escape from the heat. Easy to get to and in close proximity to everything we needed. Need to update the instructions that are sent out just before the visit as there were things that were not correct.

We loved our stay! Plenty of room for 11 people and a small dog. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable but the sheets and towels had a funny smell. One of the bed covers in one the main floor bedrooms had what looked like dry green boogers lol. They do have a washer & dryer that you can use & pretty much everything you need to feel at home. This is a great area to go for a walk and sitting outside early in the morning. The patio cushions were in bad shape but we used some blankets to cover them and enjoyed the fire pit at night. This is great place to stay in Flagstaff. I wish we could’ve stay longer. I give it a 4 out of 5 stars only because the cleanliness wasn’t great and the bathroom windows needed curtains.

Beautiful cabin house!

We absolutely loved staying in this cabin house! It was roomy and well put together. There was plenty of space for me and my 9 friends to have a relaxing getaway and loved being able to use the propane fire pit in the back. I had to change a few things with our reservation a few days before and they were very prompt to respond and help accommodate us.

Cabin Getaway

This property was PERFECT for our needs. My little sister lives nearby and told me about this listing and I booked it months in advance and it all worked out so great. There was a couple things that I needed help with but the manager called me back and resolved all my issues within the first hour that we checked in. This house is gorgeous and had PLENTY of room. I stayed in the downstairs bedroom and the bed was so comfortable! It was perfect.

Great rental, highly recommend

VERY comfortable beds. And they provide shampoo and body wash which was incredibly convenient. Really only downsides are late check in and early check out but highly recommend staying here!
