“From my first message, Shawn was very responsive. Check in was a breeze. Directions were perfect and everyone including neighbors were all friendly. Great location and so many things to do at Rumbling Bald Resort. The highlight was the bears we saw. Lake Lure and Chimney Rock are still rebuilding from the devastation of Hurricane Helene last year, so I hope more people will visit. “Great little spot in Flat Rock with fun shopes and restaurants near by. Pool was nice, the lake was nice, and the condo was comfortable. Decor was modern even tho the building itsself you can tell is older but kept up. I felt safe the entire time and I had to reach out to the property manager 1 time because I couldnt remember the room number and she was super nice, friendly, and I was pleasantly suprised how fast she responded to me even tho it was late at night. “We had such a good time during our stay at The Spruce House! The fenced-in back yard was such a relief for us to sit out with our dogs and let them play. It is 10-20 minutes from anywhere you want to go and they had about anything you might need so when you get there you can just relax.I had seen from a previous review that the doors did not have curtains, so we took our own sheets to hang over, there were no issues and we hope to be able to stay again when we make our next trip.”

“I echo other reviews in that the home was beautiful and comfortably accommodated our whole crew of 11. While the lake is drained, we still had a wonderful time and the views are gorgeous. It is not too far from Ingles, to fully stock the fridge and cook at home with all the lovely kitchen amenities available. The resort options were fun (slight note that putt putt is not included) but the pools and fitness centers were great additions. Definitely recommend! ”
