Inside, this cozy gem boasts an efficient layout perfect for a couples retreat or small family vacation. Whip up tasty meals in the full kitchen outfitted with an electric stove, oven, coffee maker, full fridge, and ample cookware. Watch the colors of the sunset reflect off of glassy waters each evening on your furnished front patio and end each night with a movie playing on the TV as the stars come out.

Things to Know
4x4 is recommended to reach this property in winter. Shared laundry facilities. Streaming is available with guests' own accounts. Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. Check-out time: 10:00 a.m. All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. This property is managed by Vacasa North Carolina LLC. All Vacasa properties comes with a starter kit to assist you on your first day before having to go out and purchase additional items. This includes: dish sponge, dish soap, dishwasher packet, laundry packet. Bathrooms will have 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. No more dogs are allowed.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

Beautiful peaceful property with a porch overlooking a small lake. Loved drinking my morning coffee while listening to birds and watching fat squirrels preparing for the fall. Its located in a cute little town near shopping and the Flat Rock Theater. Close to the Biltmore and Asheville. The room was super clean and the bed was very comfortable. Easy access to I26. Only negative was a musty smell to the room. Very comfortable and relaxing stay overall.

Great Property

We really enjoyed the property..the location was ideal for the Flat Rock NC area. It was an oversight according to the cleaning crew, however the property only had one roll of toilet paper…also, the side of the lake we stayed was next to private property which looked exactly like the property we stayed in, so we sat on the dock one afternoon and the owners (nicely) informed us we were on their property…better marking of the property would be better. The pool was closed during our stay which was unfortunate. Overall, we would stay again.

Safe and Quiet

The cottage was in a very safe location. It was also very quiet. It wasn't easy to get in and out of on the steps to the unit. The pictures need to show what is required. The pictures also show open fields and trails. Those must be on some other property. I also paid a cleaning fee and didn't expect to have to dispose of my trash in a dumpster down the road at another building.
