Se stai cercando una cabina unica e rustica per rilassarti e ricaricare in una splendida cornice di montagna, l'hai trovata! Privato, ma conveniente per tutto l'Alto Paese ha da offrire. Vieni a provare il fascino di una "vera" baita dei pionieri. Goditi il semplice piacere della bellezza della natura e la prima Americana riuniti in uno. Fai un respiro profondo, ora ... espira!

Sleepy Creek è costituito dai tronchi di due autentiche baite del 1800 (dal Kentucky e dalla Virginia dell'ovest) che sono state riassemblate e unite per far fuggire una vacanza davvero unica e confortevole. Questa cabina è costruita con bellissimi tronchi di pioppo e quercia tagliati a mano antichi, meravigliose opere in pietra, complete di tetto in legno di cedro. Si trova su oltre 4 ettari di terreno boscoso con un bellissimo ruscello che attraversa la cabina attraverso l'intera superficie.

L'interno presenta ampie camere con (2) camere da letto e (2) bagni. Il master si trova al piano principale (regina) e ha un piccolo bagno privato. Pavimenti in legno di noce nero, pannelli in pino antico e camino in blocchi di pietra ollare si fondono con componenti più recenti per preparare il terreno per questo accogliente rifugio. La seconda camera comprende l'intero piano superiore (un letto matrimoniale e due letti singoli) con soffitto a volta e ventilatori a soffitto.

La cucina rustica in stile rustico è completamente attrezzata, dotata di tutti i nuovi elettrodomestici, ma mantiene il suo fascino country con pezzi d'epoca, tra cui un'autentica svolta del secolo Hoosier Cabinet. C'è anche una lavanderia separata. Un secondo bagno si trova al piano di sotto. Ma la parte migliore è la veranda coperta. Rilassati alla vista del torrente molto rumoroso e dei numerosi colibrì che frequentano la cabina in estate. Non dimenticare di goderti un picnic o un pisolino vicino al torrente: panchine, tavolo da picnic e amaca in dotazione. Sleepy Creek offre l'ambiente perfetto per il tuo relax, comfort e divertimento.

Summer at Sleepy Creek

Sleepy Creek exceeded our expectations and we had a wonderful week long family vacation. It was very clean and the beautiful weather was perfect for evenings playing games at the table by the creek. On rainy days, we enjoyed the time on the porch. If staying there during warmer months, it did get warm upstairs and we were running a bunch of fans to cool it off. Kathe was wonderful to work with and helpful during our stay. We would definitely stay here again!

Peaceful Get Away

Fabulous!! Even with All the rain it was so peaceful. The Hosts were very helpful with any and all questions. Great location to get to Boone, Blowing Rock etc.. Lots to do and see or just relax and enjoy the creek.

We absolutely love this place! Our host, Kathe, went out of her way to make us feel welcome and assured that we had an everything we needed. Beautiful, clean home. A secluded cabin in the mountains, a fireplace and rushing creek are our must haves and this one checked every box!

Charming Cabin; Fabulous Stay

A family of four + 1 mountain-loving dog had a great time at Sleepy Creek. We spent four nights in the cabin over the Thanksgiving holiday. The cabin is exquisitely maintained. It is warm and inviting and easy to get to. My family has a tradition of going to the mountains every Thanksgiving and this has been our favorite location by far.

Sleepy Creek cabin was the perfect place for us to unwind and reset. It has the perfect mixture of seclusion while still being close enough to anything you need or want to explore. Anniversary Trip/Sleepy Creek Log Cabin

What a beautiful log cabin and setting! We loved it from the moment we saw it through the trees as we drove in, and we were not disappointed when we walked in the door. We loved the rustic, cozy feeling throughout the house and enjoyed sitting on the front porch overlooking the stream. The house was immaculate, well maintained, and well stocked. Highly recommend!

Anniversary Get Away Weekend

Sleepy Creek cabin was a wonderful 37th anniversary trip get away! Kathe was a wonderful host to work with and the cabin was impeccable stocked with everything a regular home would have. My husband and I have stayed in a lot of places in Virginia and North Carolina and I must say this has been my absolute favorite!! The cabin is rustic and charming just as pictured. The yard and landscaping is beautiful!!! The stream makes it even better! The location is great and is a short drive to West Jefferson. Kathe is a wonderful hostess and very responsive to your needs or questions. We will definitely stay again!

The best place to reset and spend time with family

We loved our stay. The home was impeccably clean. The kitchen was stocked with everything you may need. It was still decorated for Christmas and absolutely beautiful. It was perfect to relax and spend time with our small kids. We were a quick drive into Boone or other towns around which had plenty to do and see when we wanted to get out and about. Kathe was super responsive and helpful. The guests before us broke her oven and she called us a day before check in to provide very reasonable options and explain that she was doing her absolute most to get it repaired before our arrival but give us the final option on what to do. She walked us through absolutely everything we could need to know upon our arrival via phone call and it helped us to settle in that much easier. If you are considering, just book it.
