Very beautiful intimate villa and well located, beautiful garden with swimming pool
'Villa Wolmar' is a magnificent villa with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, fitted out by an interior designer and a landscaper, is sheltered by a pretty stone wall, in a chic area.

It is located 200m walk from Wolmar beach, 2 minutes from Flic-en-Flac, very close to La Pirogue, Sugar Beach, Hilton and Sofitel hotels.

It includes an American kitchen opening onto an indoor TV lounge, a large veranda including the outdoor lounge and the dining table, the large master bedroom with its en-suite bathroom, and 2 other bedrooms each with its en-suite bathroom. following.

Villa Wolmar has 3 double beds, one of which can be converted into 2 single beds, and 1 travel cot.

The beautiful 8m x 4m swimming pool is surrounded by parasols and 6 deckchairs, a table and chairs.

A housekeeper who is also an excellent cook will be present 4 hours a day from Monday to Saturday (except public holidays).
His services are included in the price of the villa.

Wir sind von der Villa Wolmar total begeistert. Sie ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt, um Mauritius zu erkunden. Supermärkte, Restaurants und der Strand sind gut erreichbar. Ein Auto ist jedoch empfehlenswert. Die Villa verfügt über eine sehr gute Ausstattung und hatte alles, was wir für unseren Urlaub brauchten. Besonders erwähnenswert ist jedoch das gute Management der Villa: Wenn wir etwas benötigt haben, hat sich Clivy sofort darum gekümmert. Unser „Highlight“ war jedoch Francesca, die Hausdame und Köchin, die sich um die Sauberkeit und um das gute Essen gekümmert hat. Vielen Dank, dass Sie unseren Urlaub zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis für uns gemacht haben. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

La villa correspondait en tout point au descriptif de l'annonce. Elle est bien agencée et très bien équipée.La conciergerie est efficace et réactive. Merci Clivy !Grand merci à Francesca qui nous a accompagné tout au long du séjour pour prendre soin de la maison et nous concocter de bons petits plats créoles, merci pour sa gentillesse, son efficacité et sa discrétion. La villa a largement contribué à la réussite de notre séjour agrémenté de très belles balades/visites et de belles plongées sous-marines (centre de plongée à 5 mn en voiture)

Great Villa for Families or three couples

We had a great stay at Villa Wolmar. We were travelling with kids and all of us enjoyed the outstandingly beautiful garden, pool and nicely furnitured veranda and indoor rooms. Every bedroom has its own bathroom. It was very clean. Air condition and ventilator, washing mashine and dryer are in the Villa. The maid Francesca cleaned, washed and also cooked delicious meals for us (1 day prior notice). The Villa is located in walking distance to the beach in Flic en Flac and numerous restaurants and small shops. We had a rental car for daily tours all around the island.

Fantastic!

Lovely villa - as described. Francesca, the maid was delightful and couldn’t be more helpful - she did our washing and cooked a couple of meals as well as keeping the villa nice and clean. Clivy, the property manager was on hand at all times and answered any questions immediately as well as organising transport requirements. Would highly recommend this property and hope to be back soon.

Séjour Janvier 2023

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour à la villa Wolmar. La villa est idéalement placée très proche de la plage publique de Flic en Flac et des commerces. Les chambres sont spacieuses et toutes équipées de salle de bain . Les terrasses sont spacieuses et ventilées . Le jardin aux plantes et arbres variées est très agréable. La piscine entretenue 2 fois par semaine est un atout important. Le service de ménage et cuisine de 4h/jour est un atout majeur de cette location.Merci à Francesca . Nous avons aussi réservé une navette de l’aéroport à la maison et de la maison à l’aéroport , un service très pratique que nous recommandons. D’après le propriétaire ,la maison Wolmar va subir une modernisation très prochainement , et c’est effectivement indispensable comme beaucoup de villas situées sous des climats tropicaux les installations ont tendance à s’abimer très vite. Nous recommandons la villa Wolmar.

We loved Flic en Flaq. The Villa is in a great location. Marie Michelle the maid and Clivy the manager, were both super helpful. We have only given it three stars, as it's badly in need of refurbishment. The Villa is looking tired and far from modern. £100k investment needed to bring up to international standard. Lots not working properly; sliding doors, lights, water leaks, electric roller blinds in main living area not working. Marie Michelle got them working, then following day stopped again. Electrics not great, there's no electrical regulation in Mauritius. Gekos everywhere, which are fine, they just made us jump! One baby scorpion in the bedroom was a bit unnerving. Kitchen has just the necessary equipment. For a Villa of this size, it needs many more accessories. The kitchen could do with a washing up bowl, a wooden spoon, new pans and an apron, for example. Beautiful, well maintained swimming pool. The patio and pool surround could benefit from being tiled. The concrete flooring is gritty. Overall, it is a lovely place to stay.

Kleine Oase nah am Ozean auf Trauminsel

Wunderschön! Eine traumhafte Oase, nah zum Ozean, wundervoll eingerichtet und architektonisch gelungen. Die Insel selbst ist ein Traum, aber das ist ja klar. Unsere Maid Michelle ist ein Schatz, hat uns köstlich kreolisch bekocht. Kokospalmen neben dem Pool, Flughunde und einheimische Vögel in den Bäumen nebenan, Sonne, karibisches Flair - was will man mehr. Das Haus ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, profitiert aber von seiner guten Substanz. Klare Empfehlung.

GREAT property in fab location

Fantastic 3-bed property. Rooms are huge and comfortable. The pool and garden just perfect. Location (Wolmar) is at the end of Flic en Flac with local shops, fab street food and restaurants nearby. Marie Michele cooked us fantastic local cuisine as required. Great steak at Rib n Beef, fab street food at red shack closest to the house, and amazing roti at Farata AKA Vindoda (queues can be long but it moves quickly). Must eat at Creole Shack where lovely chef prepares a menu of the day - and you help yourself to drinks from the fridge. Thanks for a wonderful stay. It was perfect!

Un cocon comme on en rêve

Agréable villa bien placée et à l’abri des regards. Une terrasse et un jardin avec piscine top ! Le personnel dédié est à l’écoute et dispo pour accompagner si besoin. Les petits plats de la cuisinière sont super nous avons été gâtés ! Elle s’occupe aussi du ménage et même des courses. La plage est à 5’ à pied et commerces à proximité Un séjour très réussi avec de belles rencontres et découvertes !

Excellent souvenir attaché à notre séjour. La villa est par sa situation et par ses prestations à la hauteur de nos attentes. Marie Michèle notre cuisinière a rendu ces journées inoubliables par sa gentillesse, sa disponibilité et la qualité de sa cuisine. Clivy notre gérante a également répondu présente à chaque fois que nous avions besoin de son aide ou de ses conseils. Nous recommandons sans hésitation cette villa où nous reviendrions avec plaisir

A Pocket of Paradise

We had a great 2 week stay at Villa Wolmar in August 2022. A very quiet corner of Flic en Flac at the very edge of the Wolmar estate. 3 spacious bedrooms (the master suite and bathroom are huge), great outdoor lounge and dining area (covered with the pool central to the garden. Exactly as per the description. Marie Michel (housekeeper) came daily and we chose to use her mainly for cooking which was great. She would propose the following days dishes, take money for groceries and then prepare food for the following day which really took one headache out of a 'self catering' holiday. Very close to Flic-en-flac beach (5 mins walk) or a 5 minute drive into the centre area of Flic-en-Flac where there are a few restaurants and shops and a nice busy beach. We had a care so spent our two weeks exploring all over the island and Villa Wolmar was the perfect base.

Un séjour très agréable dans une maison parfaite. Top quoi !

Voici donc l’appréciation en mode synthétique, nombre de caractères oblige … Points moins bons. • Propreté globalement très bonne et pas simple que ce soit impeccable vu l’ouverture vers l’extérieur. • L’allumage du barbecue et les 2 pèse-bagages ne fonctionnaient pas. • L’entreprise en charge de la piscine ne se donnait pas à fond lorsque nous n’étions pas présents. • Le prix de certaines choses futiles (pastilles lave-vaisselle et sacs poubelles) pourrait être ajouté simplement dans le prix de la location. Points très bons • Contact excellent et rassurant avec le propriétaire, en charge de la partie « commerciale ». • Partie « opérationnelle » gérée de Clivi avec un professionalisme remarquable. • Arrivée sans problème, Clivi était présente avec Marie-Michèle, employée de maison à raison de 4 heures par jour. 1ère impression très bonne avec une maison sécurisée par un portail électrique. Repas à disposition le premier soit. Pourquoi pas un cocktail ! • Bonne localisation à 200 m environ de la jolie plage publique de Flic en Flac. La plage n’est pas la plus jolie de l’Ile et surtout en raison des coraux sur la plage et dans les 1er mètres de la mer qui ne rendent pas idéal la promenade et la baignade pieds nus. Elle est cependant très proche de la maison et de plusieurs restaurants et bars. A 50m un petit supermaché bien pratique à des prix très raisonnables. • La location comprend 4 heures d’une employée à domicile qui, en complément du nettoyage, pourra prendre en charge les repas. Une entreprise entretient la piscine (2 fois par semaine) et une autre celui des espaces verts (1 fois tous les 15). En +, intervention d’un prestataire pour la destruction des insectes. • Concernant les animaux, rien de bien méchant pour les insectes à l’exception des moustiques. Mise à disposition des appareils électriques avec plaquettes insecticides. La journée, moineaux et des menâtes. Le soir, chauve-souris, venue d’une petite grenouille et de nombreux lézards sur les plafonds. Nous sommes à l’Ile Maurice ! • Maison très correctement équipée : jolie piscine, climatisation, rafraichissement naturel, transats, etc. • Caution restituée avant votre départ. • Une dernière chose, le propriétaire a accepté que nous restions jusqu’à notre départ à l’aéroport. Merci encore pour cette attention. Je confirme les 5 étoiles et mon appréciation !

Wunderschöne Tage auf Mauritius

Wir können die Villa nur empfehlen. die Aufteilung ist für 2-3 Familien perfekt. Michelle ist ein Goldschatz! :) Sie hat uns bald jeden Tag mit etwas anderem verwöhnt und das hat wirklich wunderbar geschmeckt!!!
