Our first trip to Italy and Florence. We LOVED THIS APARTMENT because it was very cozy and comfortable. We felt very at home and were able to relax. The courtyard is lovely and we enjoyed sitting out there mornings, afternoons and evenings! Great place to stay and Rosella was an awesome host. She answered all my questions and was a pleasure to work with. We’ll be back!!

Beware! No refund for changes in booking.

Even though the apartment accommodates 4 the base rate only covers 2 people. Rosy charges 40 per person per night for a 3rd and 4th person. We booked for a week and when our one extra person had to cancel Rosy refused to refund the 280 extra person charge even though we were still within the cancellation period. The apartment itself is very nice and quiet, in a good location with a well stocked grocery store a block away. However, the kitchen is minimally equipped. No pot large enough for cooking pasta, one small skillet, two corkscrews that were bent and barely functional and just one dish towel for the week (no paper towels). One bath towel per person was provided for the entire 7 days which did not dry out day to day. Two towels per person would have been nice.

Lovely place and very convenient

Lovely place, very convenient location and close to all the major sites. It's on the ground floor, particularly helpful since we had a stroller. Also on the quieter side of town which is a plus when you have a small child.

First off you 100% CAN take a taxi to this location! The owner will suggest walking but it is a long walk with luggage get a taxi! Second bring a blanket there are none not even a comforter on the bed. Third the cleanliness was subpar. Hair that did not belong to us was everywhere and we saw the world’s largest roach. I’d recommend another location

Perfect location

Rosy’s apartment was a short walk to the Duomo and central market. It was clean, provided AC (which is a rarity), had all the kitchen utensils you will need and was a stones throw from a grocery store and beautiful park. Would love to stay here on our return trip.

Wonderful location in the heart of Florence

This was a wonderful apartment in the heart of Florence. Everything was within walking distance and the parking garage was down the road. Rosie was amazing and I got lucky enough to meet her wonderful husband. Highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful stay

Wonderful apartment and as others have said fantastic courtyard to cool on a hot day. All amenities were terrific, happy to have the master bedroom with a fan. It was hot in Florence that week. Would definitely stay again.

Great apartment in Florence!

We stayed in March 2022. Rosy is an outstanding host, very responsive to queries and questions. The listing is accurate. The apartment is on the ground floor so easy access and very safe. Has its own patio area which is private. It is only a 15 minute walk from the train station and a 10 minute casual stroll from the Duomo and major sites. It is in a quiet area which is very nice, away from the crowded tourist areas. Check in was very easy, her associate Marco met us at the apartment so no going somewhere else to pick up the keys! Place is very clean, kitchen is well stocked. The apartment is very spacious especially considering this is in an old European building. We also rented the second bedroom which our daughter used. There is room for up to 3 people to sleep since the second room has a loft. The master bedroom is large and roomy, bed was very comfortable. I would highly recommend the apartment for anyone wanted to visit Florence and not stay in the busy areas of town!

Great location, nice and neat apartment in San Gallo district

Great location for accessing most parts of Firenze by foot. Less than 15 minutes walk to Firenze Santa Maria Novella train station. Ten minutes walk to San Lorenzo Market. Small supermarket just up the road. Clean and tidy ground floor apartment which is quite quiet.

Apparemment très agréable

L'appartement est très agréable, la cour très sympa avec les plantes. Emplacement au calme mais proche des lieux de visite, 10 à 15 mn à pied. Florence est une belle ville, la Galerie des Offices à ne pas manquer, mais les personnes aux guichets des musées pas toujours sympa. Un conseil, visiter Sienne, de préférence avec un guide pour se faire expliquer l'histoire du palio, puis voir les fresques magnifiques dans la cathédrale.

Perfect place to explore Florence!

The cathedral and all historic sites are within a few minutes walk. The apartment is perfectly clean and comfortable furnished with the charm of Tuscany. And we loved the shaded potio.

Characterful apartment in great location

We have just returned from a wonderful week staying in this delightful, clean apartment. Rosy gave us a very warm welcome and made sure we had everything we could possibly need. There was plenty of constant hot water and a proper bath tub (not just a shower) and a good supply of bath towels. Everything worked well in the apartment, including the central heating. There is a gorgeous little private courtyard - although we didn’t use this because it was November! - but it was very pleasant to look at from the inside! The apartment is in a perfect position for visiting Florence on foot. We were only a few minutes walk from many of the main sites, such as the Accademia, the Duomo, and San Lorenzo. And there was an abundance of great restaurants in the area. We ate extremely well each evening and all the Italians we met were very friendly and hospitable. The weather was pretty good in November with a daytime maximum of between 17 and 19 degrees and sunny most days. All in all a great experience and we could have easily stayed another week. Peaceful, spacious flat with old world charm in a great location

We loved our stay at Rosy's apartment in Florence. The location is in the old city, walking distance from all the major sights. It's in a real neighborhood, however, and is peaceful and quiet. We had plenty of room for our family of four and could easily have included another person. The bathroom is quite large and modern and the kitchen very well equipped. The relaxing courtyard was an added bonus that we enjoyed for morning coffee and evening wine.

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung mit Flair

Eine gut durchdachte und gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung in einer zentralen Lage mit großem individuellem "italienischem Flair". Wir haben sehr gemütliche Abende mit gemeinsamen Kochen und Spielen verbracht. Leider war das Wetter zu kalt, um im idyllischen Innenhof sitzen zu können. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Nice Appartment

It is a 5 minutes walk to San Lorenzo and 10 minutes to the train station or the dome. The road is quiet. The second bedroom has one bed in the ground floor and a double in the attic accessable through a ladder. The is spacious and the patio is really nice. Everything is clean and Rosy is a very nice host.

Charming, convenient and comfortable.

We loved the flat, very well equipped and comfortable in a good central location. Also very quiet at night. Delicatessen and supermarket within a few steps from the front door. The owner Rosy was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
