La Chicca di Boboli si trova nel centro storico di Firenze, nel quartiere di Oltrarno in posizione ideale per raggiungere comodamente a piedi i principali luoghi d'interesse del centro (Giardini di Boboli, Palazzo Pitti, Ponte Vecchio sono tutti a pochi minuti di cammino). Se non volete andare a piedi la fermata dell'autobus è a 50 mt dall'abitazione, in soli tre minuti vi troverete in Piazza Duomo e alla stazione S.M. Novella. L'appartamento, al piano terreno di un palazzo antico, è di recentissima ristrutturazione ed è arredato con cura e attenzione ai dettagli; è composto da ingresso, salotto con divano letto a due letti, cucina abitabile e completamente equipaggiata, un’ ampia camera da letto, bagno finestrato con doccia, e corte interna esclusiva. Può ospitare fino a 4 persone adulte e un bambino. E' dotato di riscaldamento autonomo, aria condizionata, lavatrice, lavastoviglie, forno a microonde, TV, telefono, connessione ADSL WiFi, il tutto compreso nel prezzo.
Il quartiere è ben servito di caratteristici negozi, ristoranti,supermercati (uno a 50 metri dall'appartamento); in esso troverete tutti i confort per vivere una piacevolissima esperienza fiorentina.

One of the best places we ever stayed

We stayed in the apartment for 9 nights during the last decade of May. LOCATION: The apartment is at the ground floor of a historical building, at the limit of the historical town, in the Oltrarno, a few minutes walk from the Palazzo Pitti and in the proximity of La Porta Romana. The bus stop (nr.11) is in the nearby, easy connection with the train station. At the Porta Romana you can take the buses to travel to Siena and San Gimignano. In Piazza Santo Spirito, 10 min. walk, there are plenty of affordable, lively restaurants and terraces with local specialties. To prepare your meals at home, there is a Carrefour on the Via Romana, a few steps away. So everything you need is in the nearby. The street, even with the traffic is not disturbing. The insulation is very good (double glazed windows). THE APARTMENT : large enough to accommodate two people with different program, decorated in a mix modern/vintage Florentine style, according to the historic building. It was recently refurbished and modernized and is very welcoming. Colors, furniture, decoration, at the very detail, are elegant and cozy. The apartment is equipped with heating, AC, TV with all the cable channels you can choose from. There is a very good Wi-fi connection. The two large beds have mattresses hard enough for a good sleep. The tiny bath room with a shower had a hair drier and the basic toiletries. Always good hot water!!! The small inside court yard is perfect for breakfast and occasional smokers. In the kitchen there is every thing one could need to feel at home preparing breakfast and even complicate meals. We did not cook, but appreciated the appliances and every detail of the cupboards!!! Gas stove, fridge, dish washing machine… Every thing is immaculate clean. The rate was absolutely correct. Even we had not the opportunity to meet Antonella, she was always open to answer at the phone and the e.mails. Doina who welcomed us was naturally polite and efficient. Thank you so much for our enjoyable stay in Firenze, and we certainly recommend your apartment to our families and friends.

Amazing stay in Florence!

The property was in a great location it offered all of the best parts about Florence, while at the same time being away from the very tourist heavy areas. The property itself had everything you could need/hope for in a place to stay. It was spacious, clean and had great amenities. The property owner and manager were very communicative and made check in and check out very easy. I have no negative things to say at all. We had a wonderful time in Florence and our stay was made that much better and easier by staying here!

Best Spot in Florence

I honestly cannot recommend this spot enough! It’s a 10 minute walk to the Ponte Vecchio bridge and a 5 minute walk to Pitti’s palace and the beautiful Boboli Gardens! Antonella has all the amenities you can think of and she’s a lovely host! If you’re looking for the authentic Italian experience this is your spot. With many local bistros and bars right around the corner. 10/10 would recommend and will be staying here again.

A perfect stay

The property was perfect in old town Florence. If you are used to modern everyday conveniences with large bathrooms kitchens and living rooms, you may be in for a little surprise. HOWEVER!!! Don’t let that stop you from renting this one. The location and just knowing the village was older and you have a chance to step back in time a bit was so rewarding. We were a perfect walk to most everything and the dinners on the street was so relaxing and healthy. Oh, and as for modern conveniences, the shower water pressure and hot waters were great! The kitchen had everything you may want, too. All in all, a perfect stay to a perfect city.

We appreciated Antonella's hospitality, including welcome drinks & snacks. The apartment's amenities include a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine and A/C. The location is perfect for sightseeing...the Uffizi Gallery, Palazzo Pitti & Boboli Gardens are all within walking distance. There are also groceries and restaurants nearby.

Best VRBO experience yet

This is, by far, the best VRBO experience I’ve had yet. The apartment has everything you could possibly need, and a gift of a bottle of wine was even included. All appliances/electronics worked as expected. Most importantly, the a/c got ice cold, which is very important to me (I found this to be rare in Italy). This was the only place I stayed at in Italy where there were no issues with the wifi. Shower got hot fast and stayed hot. The whole place was spotlessly clean and very nicely decorated. Andrea was so friendly and helpful. Be prepared to walk a bit to get to the city center, but it’s not a bad walk at all. I actually enjoyed this area because I found it to be a little more peaceful and a good escape from the hustle and bustle. I will definitely be returning to Florence and will make it a point to stay here again.

True home during a fascinating stay

Great location near restaurants, shops, attractions and locals. Perfect space for 2-3 people. The patio was nice but we didn’t use it because it was too chilly outside. Host was responsive and helpful and provided a nice selection of welcome treats.

Great little spot!!!

We were welcomed by the very patient Antonella upon our arrival. After much conversation over several months, it was a pleasure to meet. The apartment was small and cozy; perfect for 2 people. I’ve rented with VRBO for at least a decade, and must say the kitchen was probably one of the best stocked . A nice patio for a sunny day, comfy living room, good internet. I was concerned about noise as the apartment is right on the road, but honestly never heard a sound once we went to bed, and I’m an early sleeper. All in all, I would definitely rent again.

First visit to Florence

We enjoyed our stay here. The place was perfect for a couple. The bathroom was small but it worked for us. Please be aware if you have mobility issues there may be concerns with the bathroom since there are steps. We had one small maintenance issue but it was very quickly resolved. The location was very good. All we needed to do was step outside and turn to walk into the city. You are on a busy street so there is street noise although the location is part of that. We would stay here again. Thank you for sharing your place with us for a few days.

Beautifully appointed apartment in an awesome location!

My husband and I absolutely loved our 6 nights in this beautiful apartment! It had everything we needed and more. We could walk to everything and yet were away from the crowds. We enjoyed preparing some meals in the darling kitchen as well as eating out in fabulous restaurants close by. We will definitely recommend to family and friends 💗

Fantastic apartment

We truly and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we were provided with all the amenities needed and more!! The apartment was perfectly clean and and tidy, the location was perfect within walking distance of all tourist sites. We enjoyed being in the other side of the bridge as it was quite a bit quieter and better food options as it was a little less touristy. 10/10 would recommend to anyone

Lovely apartment

We enjoyed our stay at Antonella's apartment. It's located in a very convenient area of Florence and easy walking distance to the centre of the city and its location close by to the Boboli gardens. The apartment had everything we needed for our short stay in Florence including a supermarket a few doors down from the apartment and other surrounding shops and restaurants. On our arrival we were warmly welcomed by Antonella's assistant who helped us settle in. We highly recommend Antonella's apartment as being a great introduction to the city of Florence.
