Spacious and charming apartment in the heart of Florence

L'appartamento è ampio e luminoso, composto da un ampio soggiorno con divano letto, una grande cucina, due camere da letto e due bagni. Le camere affacciano su delle tipiche e silenziose corti interne. E' un antico appartamento situato al primo piano di un palazzo del '500, il balcone offre la possibilità di sedersi e godersi la vista su una delle strade più antiche e famose di Firenze. L'appartamento è dotato di tutto il necessario per il vostro soggiorno, è comodo e perfettamente centrale.
E' un appartamento antico ed affascinante, curato in ogni dettaglio, con camere tranquille e silenziose, fresco d'estate e caldo d'inverno. We stayed here in early May 2025 and overall it was a fantastic choice of accommodations. It was walking distance to all major attractions but not in the middle of the crowds. There were three of us in total and the two bedrooms and two baths were perfect. Communications with our host Chiara were seamless and he responded to our every question almost immediately. Getting our luggage up the one flight was a small effort but not a problem. The flat emitted a perfect classic Firenze feel - rustic and charming. It was extremely clean and sufficiently appointed. We did not cook in due to the abundance of choices of ristorante and trattorias both nearby and throughout Firenze (more later on our local favorites). The beds were comfortable and there were enough towels and linens for our five night stay. Bathrooms were tight especially the one off the back bedroom but again were not an issue. Water pressure was good for a shower. I appreciated the espresso pot for a quick cup of coffee in the morning before setting out. One piece of advice - i recommend a personal fire stick or similar and possibly a vpn internet connection for a larger choice of English language television choices. Although after exploring all day and getting in over 10k steps daily there wasn’t much time for tv at night - just enjoy the comfy beds.The small terrace off the front was a great place for a late afternoon glass of wine while watching locals and tourists pass by. Chiara and Francesco were wonderful hosts. Very responsive and gave us excellent recommendations. We would stay here again in a second. Apartment was in a great neighborhood - very close to Santa Croce and a short walk to the Duomo. Everything was as described and perfect for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Was greeted right away and was given a tour with help with our bags, owner's husband was extremely friendly and helpful with lots of recommendations and accommodations that came with the space. It was spacious, clean, and in an amazing location in Florence. I would totally recommend staying here along with working with this host and stay again!

My sister and I were in Florence to visit my niece , who is studying there, and to explore the city.The apartment was spotless and very comfortable. It is located within walking distance of many great restaurants, shops and historic sites. Chiara was an excellent hostess and responded immediately to any questions we had.We would love to stay again!

We arrived early and were allowed to check in upon our arrival. The apartment was very clean and cozy. Outside was chilly but the heat inside made our stay comfortable. Upon check in we were greeted and provided with a few treats as a welcome to Italy which was very nice and appreciated. The location of the apartment was close enough for walking to Anywhere within Florence. Felt very safe around the neighborhood. We would definitely stay again should we go back to Florence. Chiara was a great host and stayed in communication with us during our stay.

Apartment in the old city very close to Santa Croze square and close to the Duomo. Locales in a old building but well arranged with new bathroom and absolutely very clean with all the necessary ítems. With a nice balcony. The comunicatio with Chiara was perfect. We reccoment for a visit to Firence!

Great stay at this excellent apartment near Santa Croce in Florence. Fantastic location, easy access to main points of interests and great dining options. We were there in November when the nearby Christmas market at Santa Croce was running, just two blocks away. Space worked well for us and our college age daughter visiting our other daughter studying abroad in Florence.

We stayed in the apartment for 7 nights, a clean and spacious yet cozy 2 bed/2 bath on a lively street. There’s a small balcony for watching the world of Florence go by just beneath you. While the street was noisy at times (Friday and Saturday night), the bedrooms were silent. There’s a small kitchen just right for warming a sandwich or a coffee. There are bodega shops and even a market nearby. Excellent restaurants are everywhere. We felt safe walking all over. It’s located just a couple of blocks from Santa Maria Croce, a couple from the Duomo, and a short walk to the Uffizi or the Academie. It’s also an easy walk from the Santa Maria Novella train station (if you have small luggage, just walk). Communication from the host was just enough but not too much. When we arrived, Francesco was there (not arranged, we were early) and provided some excellent tips. One, that we go to the train station and catch the number 7 bus to the nearby town of Fiesole, happened to be a highlight of our trip. It’s a quiet place off the beaten path, seemingly an authentic little town. If you go on a sunny day, it’s a short walk up the to the hill to a convent where you can see Florence laid out below as the sun sets. Lots of dining options and a few shops up there, as well as a Roman Theater excavation and museum. Highly recommended.
