Peruzzi Apartment in Florence

The apartment was designed by a well known '90s architect and then renewed only few years ago. Many of the furnitures where designed specifically for this home by the architect himself.
The apartment is made of an entrance, a living-room, a main room with double-bed and a mezzanine for wardrobes so to enhance livable space, a bathroom with shower and a fully equipped kitchenette. Another mezzanine above the living-room make space for two single beds and an office.

The apartment is at the ground floor of an historical building facing a small and quiet square in the neighborhood of Santa Croce.

The apartment is situated in the historical center right by Santa Croce Square and its church - well known as one of the most beautiful in Florence. The area of Santa Croce is definitely one of the nicest of the historical center – not only for its monuments but also for the many little shops and restaurants which, especially at night time, make its alleys lively and enjoyable.
Santa Croce church is beyond any doubt the main attraction here – it hosts the tombs of some of Florence's most iconic figures like Michelangelo and Galileo. The big square which opens up right in front of the church is often location for special events, like the Calcio Storico (or Historical Football). In fact every June the stony floor is covered with sand literally transforming the square in an arena surrounded by stands.
Given the beauty and comforts of the location it's easy to affirm that Santa Croce is among the favorite neighborhoods where to reside in Florence.

The apartment is located in a restricted traffic area (ZTL) because it is in the main part of the historical center of Florence. If you arrive by car the best solution is to park your car before the entrance of the restricted traffic area, that is around 3/4 minutes walk from the apartment. The nearest entrance of the restricted area is on Lungarno delle Grazie that is a street near the river Arno where there are some parkings. Those parkings are free from 8.00 pm to 8.00 am but during the day you have to pay it. There are automatic cash machines near the parking lot, the ticket must be displayed in the car.
Please be careful because at the entrance of the restricted traffic area there are cameras that take the picture on the license plate and then send a fine to the driver.

We take care of this with the help of professionals who sanites every surface in the apartment after guest's stays. This increased attention affects our cleaning costs, but we believe it is a gain in health and safety on the long term. To save on health wouldn't be smart we all can agree. Check-in time ends at 8.30 PM. After this time it is possible to check in by paying an extra fee. From 8.30 PM to 10.30 PM the fee is 30.00 € . After 10.30 PM the fee is 50.00 €. Payment must be made through Airbnb upon arrival.
