Palazzo Wagnonville dates to the mid 1800s when Florence was briefly capital of Italy
The Palazzo was commissioned by French philanthropist Baron Pierre-Amédée Foucques de Wagnonville as his Florentine residence while was involved in collecting Renaissance art with specific interest in Giambologna.
Upon arriving you will find yourself in the monumental entrance with marble columns and stucco replicas of the Manneken Pis
The original antique elevator can carry MAX 3 Passengers and No suitcases so you will have to take a few trips but you will be able to enjoy a unique historical lift over 100 years old with similar examples only found in the Vatican and few Noble households around Italy.

To reach the Penthouse you will have to climb 25 easy and wide steps. You will find yourself at the entrance of the apartment and the hallway from where you can reach the bedrooms.
The first fantastic bedroom has high ceilings with wooden beams and 2 oversize twin beds next to each other and access to the ensuite wet/guest bathroom.
This small but fully equipped bathroom can be accessed by both the bedroom and the hallway. It is finished by precious marble inlay and brass fittings. Washbasin, Medicine Cabinet, WC and Shower facilities
Moving along the hallway you will find yourself in the reading room with windows overlooking the quaint courtyard and balcony.
Downstairs (9 steps) you access the Kids' sleeping nook/alcove and bathroom.
Important max height 185cm 6FT standing up, except for the full height shower.
The Master bedroom is designed to both impress you and make you feel at home thanks to its wood ceiling and oversized antique stone hearth. Additonal access to the cedar panelled walk-in closet.
The bed is made up of two full size mattresses (120cmx200cm 47in x 78) pushed together and they face the master balcony where you can catch a breath of fresh air (mind your head exiting).
The en-suite grey Carnian marble Master bathroom has an oversized walk in shower alongside two separate oversized porcelain designer washbasins
Climbing up the custom wrought iron stair case you will have access to the master terrace with privacy screen to enjoy the views.
The dining/living room has high ceilings with massive exposed beams. There is wonderful antique mahogany table that can comfortably sit 8 to enjoy the best ingredients Tuscany has to offer.
The Living room is designed for comfort so you can relax and restore energies after hard days exploring the city and region.
The fully equipped galley kitchen has Carrara marble accents. There is a very convenient coffee/tea station with a Nespresso machine and microwave.
Finally last but not least you will find our crown jewel, the panoramic terrace where you can enjoy seeing but not being seen taking in once in a lifetime sights.
At your disposal are two sunbeds, a hammock for taking a nap, a conversation area with four designer armchairs and marble topped table.
