Location was down by the port which served me well to use the efficient street cars to get to the sultanahmet area very quickly—much faster than by car— not a whole lot of restaurants real close to hotel —walked up to Taksim quite frequently — but it was …UP .. so only to be attempted by a person with a reasonable level of fitness— i would stay here again ”

La colazione (ottima) viene servita su una terrazza panoramica dalla quale si ha una visione a 360 gradi su Istanbul. Camere confortevoli e pulite, personale gentile e accogliente, dispone di un parcheggio privato ed è il personale a parcheggiare l’auto. Posizione strategica in prossimità di piazza Taksim. Veramente eccezionale."

"La stanza 'suite' era al nono piano ma l'ascensore arrivava fino al ottavo. Quindi era da fare un piano per le scale che sembrava fatto con lavori in corso. Dal bagno usciva in continuazione un oddore terribile. L'albergo era pieno di persone che erano a istambul a farsi i trapianti di capelli. Si muovevano per l'arbergo con le teste vendate e qualcuno pieno di sangue. Lo stesso scenario ers nella sala colazione. Sembrava di essere in ospedale. Non lo raccomando e sicuramente non torno in questo albergo. Ci sono altre strutture vicine allo stesso prezzo e molto poi belle. "

"I am fully satisfied with my stay at Richmond hotel. Fast check in, kind personnel speaking english language. Large and cleaned room, comfortable bed, bathroom with wide shower, compliments food and water. Despite the window on the crowed Istiklal Kaddesi, it was very noiseless room. AC powerful. Breakfast rich and various. All was ok.
The position is wonderful close the south ending of Istiklal Caddesi and Galata tower, full of shops, restaurants and elegant cafès, with rapid access to Galata bridge.
I think I will come back here next time in Istanbul.
