“Analog motel in a digital world. The nice man takes my reservation online, then hand writes my data on an analog registration card. He hands me an analog key. The room hasn't been updated since 1954, except for a flat screen TV. Despite, or maybe because of, it all works. Excellent location adjacent to downtown and a terrific bakery/ art studio.”

“Read many negative reviews but stayed anyway as we were traveling with dogs and there were few options in area that night. The room was OK, clean with a comfortable mattress. Only bad was the outside temp was over 100 in evening and AC struggled all night. It worked, but noise level at even lowest setting was 56 decibels - loud for sleeping. After I booked it, spouse found reviews that mentioned bedbugs. We asked about it at desk, and got a weak answer about people confusing other bugs for bed...

“The washer and dryers were out of order. They didn’t tell us about them until after we bought laundry detergent from them. The carpets were stained. The breakfast was adequate. Not a large variety of food.”

“Room was clean, bed was comfy- shower curtain and showerhead placement were tricky to navigate as water would shoot all over the bathroom floor unless the shower head was held in a specific way, so made a relaxing shower a bit more difficult. Some noise could be heard through the walls and floors, which led to waking up a few times in the night. Very minor complaints for a very enjoyable stay overall.”
