“The reason I gave the Inn a poor rating on amenities was the bar was closed, the restaurant was closed, and the staff(which was excellent) was only on duty from 8 a.m.to 8 p.m. Lucky we didn't need anything as the rooms were well stocked, but if we did we would have to call and wait for a person to come help. “Black bear was very cozy and tidy. It was so nice to be able to escape for acouple days. The cabin had everything you needed and there were places to eat and a grocery store close by if you needed one. Very nice! Brad and Dana were easily accessible if you needed anything as well. ”

“Firehouse Inn is filled with olde world charm. Hand painted walls, claw foot chairs, Bose audio system for easy listening, TV and a fireplace in large living room. Dining area can seat multiple guests in comfort. The hospitality is amazing! Donna’s cooking skills are mouthwatering and Mary is the go to person to get you settled in. Our bedroom had a very comfortable bed, lounge chair with ottoman and spotless bathroom. Shower was large enough for two people 👍! Will definitely visit again.”

“Only issue I had was the coffee maker in my room did not work (I honestly didn't think to report it, I was there to attend a funeral and my mind was all over the place). I went to the breakfast area in search of coffee to find there was no coffee there either. I went to a fast food place nearby to get my morning coffee.”
