Higher Ground Lodge is a luxury log cabin designed by an architect as his personal mountain retreat — and it shows. Built from imported Canadian logs, this custom lodge offers soaring ceilings, a glass wall façade that brings the outdoors in, and carefully curated amenities for an elevated guest experience.

With 4 spacious bedrooms, 3.5 spa-inspired bathrooms (including a soaking tub and walk-in rain showers), a loft media room with a pool table, and forest views from every corner, this home is ideal for families or friend groups seeking a balance of comfort, style, and nature. Located at the edge of a national forest, yet just minutes from lakes and hiking trails, Higher Ground Lodge combines privacy and convenience with true luxury.

Perfect for all seasons, the high-country community of Forest Lakes Estates offers access to several lakes in the region, numerous off-road trails and quaint small town shops nearby. Enjoy hiking, fishing, and kayaking in the summer, or cozy up by the fire after a day of snow trekking in the winter. . Willow Springs and Woods Canyon Lake are a short drive away plus you don't want to miss the majestic views of the Mogollon Rim with a scenic drive to the Rim Vista Overlook Trail.

We loved our stay here! It was spotless and beautifully decorated. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We really enjoyed the back porch, fire pit and cozy fireplaces. The national forest directly behind the cabin was a plus as we spotted many deer during our stay. We would recommend this property to anyone.

Don't miss this luxury home in Forest Lakes!

This property is truly one of the most beautiful we have ever experienced! The photos do not do justice to the magnificent nature of the home or the location. Perfectly situated in Forest Lakes, near the Rim Lakes. Our stay could not have gone better. We had a family group of 6 adults and two young kids. Everyone was delighted with this home. We had a couple of questions, and the management company was prompt and took care of us. Don't hesitate to book! You will love this home!
