CA'N MAYOL (BANYETA) - Chalet with terrace in Fornalutx. Free WiFi

Set in the picturesque village of Fornalutx, in the Tramuntana Mountains, this enchanting town house can comfortably accommodate 2 people.
On the first floor there is a furnished terrace with a sofa and two parasols for sunbathing with views of the mountains. This terrace is an ideal place to enjoy an outdoor dinner under the stars.

This terrace gives access to a spacious living room with satellite-TV and a toilet. When going down to the first floor, you'll find a bedroom with double bed and A/C as well as a cosy sitting-dining room. The ground floor is composed of a shower bathroom and a fully-equipped kitchen with gas hob, washer, iron and ironing board. If you travel with a baby, we can supply a cot and a high chair. Two fans and two electric radiators complete the equipment.

The picturesque town of Fornalutx is in the midst of the Tramuntana Mountains, declared as a World Human Heritage by Unesco. Lots of trails and cycling routes start here. The trail Tossals Verds leads you through Mediterranean woods, antic buildings and small paths. The fresh water reservoir Cúber, which is at the foot of the Puig Major, is also a very nice and popular trail. The beaches of the Tramuntana are mostly characterized by rocks and cool, clear waters, for example Cala Deià, Puerto de Valldemossa and Llucalcari. If you prefer sand beaches, you can visit Puerto de Sóller and Cala Tuent. In Sóller and Puerto de Sóller you'll find supermarkets, restaurants and shops. In Fornalutx, there's a small grocery shop. Near Sóller is the Muleta Cave where the most ancient human remains of Mallorca have been found.

Topp Unterkunft in toller Stadtlage

Das hübsche Stadthäuschen besticht mit seiner exponierten Lage. Von dort erreicht man alle Restaurants und Bars fußläufig und ebenso die vielen Wanderwege in Tramuntana Gebirge. In der Beschreibung bzw. den Buchungsanweisungen sollte Fewo bzw. Homerti einen Hinweis über die Parkmöglichkeiten in Fornalutx angeben.

Nichts für alte Leute

Wenn man jung ist und keine Atemprobleme hat, ist das Haus ideal.Leider habe ich Asthma und die Luft im Tal von Sóller ist im Winter extrem schlecht. Die Gartenabfälle, und sicherlich auch manchmal Plastik, werden nach dem Beschneiden der Bäume offen verbrannt. So hängt meistens über dem Tal eine dichte Rauchwolke.Beim ersten Versuch mit der Klimaanlage zu heizen, bekam ich keine Luft mehr. Die schöne Terrasse kam für mich deshalb auch nicht infrage.Die Raumaufteilung ist für ältere Leute nicht geeignet.Der nächtliche Gang zur Toilette wird zum Abenteuer.Die Gesamtausstattung des Hauses ist gut.Leider liegen Küche und Duschbad im Kellergeschoss und sind etwas deprimierend.Wenn im Obergeschoss ein Esstisch stehen würde, könnte der Raum sehr gewinnen.

Beautiful location in the mountains

Great location, property with character and charm and some quirks! Very comfortable bedroom, upstairs lounge and outside terrace. Need to be aware of the 35 steps from top to bottom if you forget to bring anything with you from the kitchen or bathroom! BBQ not there when we arrived but after contacting Homerti a new one was delivered to us the next day. Excellent customer service.

Meget hyggelig lejlighed i 4 plan, men rigelig plads til to personer. Fornalutx er en meget dejlig by med gode restauranter.

Authentisches Haus in Traumumgebung

Die Kommunikation mit der Besitzerin verlief reibungslos, sie war stets erreichbar. Die Unterkunft selber ist ein älteres Haus in Zentral-Fornalutx. Es hat 4 (!) Stockwerke, das sollte man nicht unterschätzen - das Essen aus der Küche im Keller haben wir uns immer in den 2. Stock auf die herrliche Terasse geholt. Zum Schlafen sind wir vom Schlafzimmer ins Wohnzimmer umgezogen, da wir Probleme mit der Lautstärke (Haus liegt an Straße, ein Gullideckel klackert immer wenn Autos drüber fahren) hatten. Die Wohnung war sauber und ordentlich. Die Lage ist absolut schön - wenn man aus der Tür rausgeht, fällt man quasi auf die schönste Treppe in Fornalutx und fotografierende Leute. ;) Ein kleiner Supermarkt, der der Familie der Hausbesitzerin gehört, ist direkt um die Ecke. Wichtig: Parken im Ortkern geht (fast) nur gegen Bezahlung, wenn man allerdings ein paar Meter aus dem Ort rausfährt, kann man sich dort kostenlos an den Straßenrand stellen. Wir haben die Zeit in der Wohnung genoßen, Fornalutx liegt sensationell um Wandertouren in der Serra de Tramuntana zu starten. Fornalutx hat etwas Magisches und dort seine Unterkunft zu haben lohnt sich. Wir können die Wohnung daher guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen!
