We stayed in the Anderson Valley room. Riddled with mold to the point that it triggered an asthma attack. The room clearly had water damage throughout based on the warped floor and the smell. What you’re seeing online is nothing close to reality. The staff that we spoke to over the phone were friendly, but...

“The only place to stay near Mendocino! It’s enchanting and will elevate any vacation. While it’s truly a place to escape and very much geared for adults we had our two older daughters (14 and 11) and they were welcomed and treated like royalty while we were there. The food at the hotel is superb along with the staff. The staff is all local and they all had great recommendations, don’t snooze on everything they tell you to do and eat! We cannot wait to go back!”
