Jughandle Costa Casa per le vacanze

Questa casa è situato tra Fort Bragg (5 minuti) e il villaggio di Mendocino (10 minuti). Situato a 1/4 di miglio dalla spiaggia, la casa è anche vicino a parchi statali (Jug Maniglia, Russian Gulch, Foresta di sequoie, Van Damm e McKerricher) che sono particolarmente grande per trekking, mountain bike e accesso alla spiaggia.

La casa è molto privato, disposto su due acri di terreno boscoso. Un cortile erboso si apre in un prato circondato da sequoie, pino e abete. La casa dispone di soffitti cattedrale e pavimenti in legno caldi in tutto, una cucina completamente attrezzata, TV via cavo / VCR, lettore CD, telefono, tostato stufa a legna con una finestra di vetro per cene a luce del fuoco, e un grande ponte posteriore e laterale con pranzo all'aperto e un barbecue per grigliare.

Questa casa Mendocino ha un re, una regina, e due letti estraibili (ognuno di questi posti letto può ospitare due letti singoli o fare in letti queen size). We have stayed in this lovely house 6 or 7 times over the past ten years. We love how spacious, quiet, and light-filled it is, the comfortable beds, and how easy it is to prepare meals in the kitchen. We look forward to coming back!

The property is so beautiful! We had an excellent stay and will definitely be back again. We loved all the little touches and care that has gone into this home including the extensive guide with handwritten notes to visit places. Well stocked home, wish we stayed longer.

Amazing stay

We had a lovely time at the property. It was very well equipped and in a great location for the botanical gardens, Mendocino and Big river. Jug handle beach was beautiful. Recommended.

We enjoyed our time in this charming home. Everything was very clean. The kitchen was well supplied with dishes, utensils, and anything we needed to cook when preparing meals. It was always nice to come back to this very quiet retreat in the afternoon but still close enough to get into town if we wanted. Very calming to look out in the yard.

We had a great stay here! The place was very clean, well-stocked, and had everything we needed. Unfortunately, we got into a car crash on our way to the house, but arriving at such a peaceful and comfortable space really made a tough day a lot better. It felt like the perfect place to decompress and reset. We would definitely stay here again—highly recommend!

Magical Gem!

What a magical gem this place is! My family of four (2 adults, 2 children) absolutely loved this home and property. The beds were super comfortable, there were plenty of sheets, blankets, and towels. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, glassware, etc. We loved the selection of board games and their House Folder had a ton of information on what to do around the area. The amount of windows and skylights in the home brought in natural lighting througought the day and we loved having the windows open to allow the cool breeze to flow throughout. In the evening, we enjoyed cozy fires in the wood burning stove. Our favoirte part however, was the grounds! This was just magical! We had so much fun playing with our imagination in this beautiful "realm" of redwoods, cypress, blackberries, rhododendrons, huckleberry, foxglove, daisies, ferns, pine, and so much more. These memories will stay with us forever. We will definitely be back to stay here again! Thank you Matt and Cathy for sharing this special place!

Excellent stay in Fort Bragg

I've stayed in many rental homes over the years and have found this home to be the most comfortable and well appointed of any I have ever stayed at. There is no unnecessary clutter and it is easy to make yourself comfortable here. It is very organized and you can easily find anything you need within the home. We recommend this home without any hesitations.

Family vacation

Perfect Stay

What a great experience! We has so much fun exploring the property. The home was appointed quite well...everything from comfy beds, very functional kitchen and a washer/dryer which is always a plus on a beach vacation. We enjoyed the peace of being in the country but still 10 minutes from everything in town. Having a state beach less than a mile away was great! In the evenings we enjoyed a fire in the wood stove that had plenty of firewood waiting for us. Communication with the hosts was perfect. Thank you for sharing your vacation home with us Matt and Cathy! Looking forward to our next visit.

This was the 2nd time my two grown sons and I have stayed at this Jughandle house while visiting Ft. Nice and relaxing

We had an amazing stay at this cabin! It was the perfect getaway for our small family. The cabin had everything we needed—comfortable, well-equipped, and incredibly cozy. The main room was spacious and open, with an incredible fireplace that made our evenings so relaxing.The patio deck was a highlight, offering a peaceful spot to unwind and watch the many beautiful birds around. We loved the quiet and secluded setting, which made for a truly peaceful escape. Plus, it was just a quick drive to the beach, making it easy to enjoy both relaxation and adventure.We would love to come back again!

Everything was great - just issues with water

Came to stay here for a 3 day weekend with my father. We both found everything comfortable and while it took a while to heat the place up, it was very cozy once things got to a warmer temp. This house is a 10 mins drive away from a lot of great areas of Mendocino and Fort Bragg which was very convenient. We also appreciated the board game selection!One large issue for us was that the water was dark yellow. Our first notice of this was with the toilet because it looked like someone had forgotten to flush, but really that was the color of the tank water. But when we realized this was also the same color that came out of the sink and shower, that gave us a little bit of ick. It made us opt out of using the coffee maker or drinking the tap water in general. I'm assuming this is a rust issue or something similar. We took some video/photos of this but I don't see an option to attach here. If this had been fixed it would have been a 5/5 for us!

Perfect retreat for holidays

We had such a good time in this cozy place. The kitchen is well stocked with everything needed. Plenty of space in the backyard and patio around the house. It is located close to Ford Bragg, ocean and forrest : all what we wanted :)

Great mini vacation place

Once we got the house warm it was nice and cozy. Loved the upgrades in the kitchen, especially the coffee maker. Bring in drinking water.Will book again! This was our third time here. Very reasonable rates and lovely grounds surrounding the house. Also no HOST house hovering nearby!
