Nestled on a spacious, tree-lined property, this retreat features a private hot tub, outdoor firepit, grill, and an expansive yard with a children's playhouse. Enjoy easy access to the beach for biking and coastal adventures. Your perfect family vacation awaits!



    The Space:

    A great space for a family looking to explore the wild beauties of the Northern California Coast, this home features an open floor plan, plentiful space to spend time outdoors, and a wood-burning stove to warm your toes as you watch movies each evening.



    After a day spent on nearby Glass Beach, you can roast marshmallows around the firepit and take soothing soaks in the outdoor hot tub and the jetted master bathtub.



    The perfect blend of seclusion and convenience, this home sits two miles northeast of downtown Fort Bragg, where you can grab a beer at the North Coast Brewing Taproom, hop on board the Skunk Train for a ride through the redwoods, or admire the treasures on Glass Beach. The sandy stretch of Pudding Creek Beach is only a mile west, and MacKerricher State Park awaits three miles up the coast. The region's beauty is also on full display at the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens (five miles south) and in the charming art galleries and restaurants in downtown Mendocino (13 miles south).



    Firewood is provided.

    There is a full kitchen, but please note on the stainless steel gas range, only the burners operate (the oven does not work); however, there is a built-in wall oven.

    This property does not support EV charging. Guests are kindly asked to use public EV chargers available in the area.

    Check-in Form: To ensure a smooth and secure stay for all guests, we kindly require completion of our short check-in form after booking. This includes signing our standard rental agreement and verifying guest and payment information. It only takes a few minutes and helps us prepare the home for your arrival.

    There are a maximum of 4 vehicles are allowed at the home. Please be mindful of the neighbors privacy and do not open any closed gates.

We had such a great time staying at the house—it really exceeded our expectations. The space was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed to relax and enjoy ourselves. The hot tub was a highlight, especially in the evenings, and the fire pit made for the perfect spot to unwind and hang out after a long day. It all came together to create a really memorable and cozy experience, and we’d absolutely stay here again.

The home is spacious, clean, airy, and filled with natural light thanks to the many skylights throughout the property. The yard and surrounding forest create a true retreat, offering peaceful solitude punctuated by the occasional songs of birds. During our stay, we were delighted to watch a deer and her fawn grazing in the yard, which added to the property’s natural charm.Overall, this property provides a wonderfully calming and restorative environment—an ideal place to relax, recharge, and connect with nature. The only aspect I would suggest reconsidering is the check-in and check-out schedule. The 4:00 p.m. check-in and 10:00 a.m. check-out times felt somewhat restrictive, especially after such a restful stay. A slightly earlier check-in or later check-out option would make the experience even more enjoyable and allow guests to fully savor their time in this beautiful setting.

Cousin's Getaway

I stayed with my cousins for our annual getaway at the Farm House for 3 nights and really enjoyed our time there. The location was perfect...out of town far enough that we felt secluded and close enough that we were able to enjoy the sites and tourist locations. We would definitely recommend this property for anyone looking for a place to gather family together .

Amazing getaway!

We had the best time! The home is spacious and clean and all details are attended to. The best VRBO we’ve ever rented, so much great space outside for the kids to explore and feels like you’re in your own private forest. We absolutely will be back!

Unfortunately we didn't use the hot tub, but saw it was hot enough and looked inviting.There is no garbage disposal, so would like to see maybe a compost bin out back.Loved the property. House was very roomy. We normally try to stay right on the ocean, but this was a lovely alternative, and quite close to everything in Ft. Bragg and the state park, yet felt private and secluded among the redwoods. Sat out at the fire pit at night and early morning - wonderful! This would be a great place for kids old enough to run around and explore.

Beautiful home, great location, property is lovely. The only thing I found odd is that one of the bedrooms has a double bed! Spring for the queen size bed! I would make this fabulous property over the top!!
