Michael the host made our stay one of the worst we have ever had. For the price we paid. We expected a much better experience.He was extremely difficult to communicate with. Multiple messages were sent weeks before our trip with no response. We had to reach out to the property separately and Vrbo several times who contacted the host themselves and he still did not respond.A day and a half before our stay we discovered there was no reservation in our name at the hotel, despite the booking being confirmed. The host later modified our reservation without our consent, leaving us without accommodations for the first night. He changed our dates without asking and basically said oops there was a mistake on my calendar, and the unit is not available. He then moved us to another unit, but without having a place to stay our first night. When we did get into the replacement unit, there were additional issues such as outlets that did not work, standing water and broken door knobs making them almost impossible to open. Overall this was a very stressful experience and far from the reliable communication and trust that guests expect when booking through Vrbo. I would not recommend booking with this host.
