Not a bad stay, but definitely not “luxury”

The building looks like it hasn’t been updated since the 70s. Looking past that and focusing on the condo, my friend described it as “lipstick on a pig.” It was decorated very nicely over top of vents and door handles stuffed with paper towels to tighten against the wall/door. The bathroom vanity legs looked like they’d previously been gnawed off by an animal. The TV barely worked because the WiFi spun and spun and then the picture wouldn’t fully load. Kitchen cabinet doors were crooked/loose.On the bright side, the property manager was polite and courteous and got us the remaining towels needed very quickly since it was not fully stocked when we arrived. Location was great…we walked to the store and restaurants. The tiki bar/restaurant at the property was convenient and the food was great. All in all, it was not a horrible stay but far from luxury.

I received ZERO check in information on the app/emails from the host. I had to call personally for him to send me the code to the door to get in the room. Had no information about parking for valet or self park at the resort. When finally arrived at the room with the code there was food from previous guests left in the fridge, a broken plastic fork on the floor by the beds. No wash clothes included with the towels. As far as the property goes, no coolers allowed at the beach or pool, which was frustrating. The pool area was never cleaned during our stay as there was a spilled drink on the pool cement area that was there all week. Also other trash that seemed to be never picked up. Received no information on what was required for checkout from the host. This resort is not a luxury by any means. The Tiki Bar is a cool spot, but pricey. It was a very average stay. The location of the resort is great though. Walking distance to Lauderdale by the Sea. Short drive to water taxi pickup spots to go to Hollywood Beach or Las Olas Blvd.
