All I can say is do not stay here! We were so dissapointed by this resort especially after all the great reviews we saw about it.
When we arrived they gave us a room on the 5th floor of the building near the ocean. We went to the room and it was filthy. It had a musty smell as soon as you entered, the carpet was moist, there was mold in the shower, the art and furniture were literally falling apart. We thought maybe turning on the A/C would help with the smell so we turned it on and it shot out dust. My husband removed the air filters from the A/C unit and they were disgusting. Filled with dust and mold. We notified the desk and they "upgraded" us to a bungalow.
We were pleased until we got to the bungalow. It was filthy as well. The floor tiles had visible dirt and grime on them, there were ants in our kitchen area near the trash can, and the sink didn't work. There were two doors to the ground floor bungalow that also didn't feel safe as they opened outward leaving the hinges on the outside for anyone to access. One of the exterior doors opened to an alley behind the building. When we asked for the room to be deep cleaned they said they would and it obviously wasn't. The front desk manager, Patrick, then came to the room with the houskeeping supervisor and asked very rudely about the issue. I showed the grime on the floors and he said that a certain amount of dirt and debris was expected for hotel floors with tile and grout. Do not stay here!
