Do not stay here if you want a safe accommodation. I stayed one night before being forced to leave. The studio is connected to a main house that is also a Vrbo rental. There is a connecting door between the studio and the house. During my stay, the police came looking for the guest in Armando’s main house. The guest has a mental illness and I wasn’t told this before check in. It was only after the police arrived on the first day, that Armando let me know. He reassured me that the guest had left and everything was fine. The next night, the police returned again looking for the guest. 20 minutes after they left, there was pounding on my door and screaming. It was the guest from the main house and they were yelling out vulgar threats and racial slurs. I had never seen the guest before, and they were screaming they were going to break in and hurt me. I was terrified and hid in the bathroom to call the police. The guest kept hitting the door and yelling out threats. Armando never answered the phone. The police was able to get the guest away from the studio and escort me out. Armando eventually arrived but didn’t say a word to me.The guest remained at the property and I went to a hotel. When I asked Armando for a full refund, he refused and was extremely disrespectful. He told me the guest had left and I could return. I refused in the end since there was no guarantee the guest wouldn’t come back and hurt me. Armando still charged a week’s rate. He does not care about guests. Avoid.
