“Overall, my stay was great. The only critiques I have are that if you get to breakfast at 6:30 depending on who’s serving it it can be a little late and the food is lukewarm and they have no microwave to heat it up. They are pretty good about staying on top of refilling things. The only other downside is there isn’t a huge amount of parking so if you get to the hotel later at night, all the parking spots are usually filled. The beds are firm, but I like a firm bed. “The rooms were pretty clean, but the entrance/hallway had a distinct odor. We forgot some beach towels in closet and the manager called to let us know. On our way back we said we could stop by for them. I called before heading that way and was told they should have the towels. This was not the case they tried to give us a different bag with someone else's things and at the end they didn't even have my towels.”

“It's a newer Tru and very nice property. Right beside Topsail Hill and there's a Donut Hole right down the sidewalk. You can tell the staff really cares and takes a lot of pride in the property. The Wednesday night reception was something I'd never experienced before at a smaller hotel. The king rooms are great for two people. If you have more than two, then you'll need a larger room.”

Housekeeping was inconsistent and required repeated requests, food service was poorly managed and often not ready on time, and overall service was average. For a similar price, this did not meet expectations.”
