Pelican L04- Beautifully updated 1 Bedroom plus bunk room Lanai level condo with an "Under the Sea-Coastal" feel throughout the condo.

Welcome to Pelican L04 at Destin West Beach an Bay Resort. If you are in need of a one bedroom condo and are tired of the same old type condos then you are going to love this condo. It is uniquely decorated and furnished with everything added to make your vacation enjoyable and comfortable.

The open floor plan offers a fully equipped kitchen and a separate dining area. Large King Master bedroom, a queen size sofa sleeper, and a bunk area with a door complete the sleeping accommodations for this unit.

The master bedroom has a King Bed with upscale luxury linens and bedding, a 46 inch TV and a DVD with a private bath.

The bunkroom has a 20in TV w/DVD for each bunk and a private bath.

The kitchen has everything you will need for a great meal or a simple cup of coffee. Stainless steel cookware, toaster oven, crock pot just to mention a few of the items that are furnished in the fully stocked kitchen.

The living room has a 55 in television and BueRay DVD player, wifi internet service and a sleeper sofa with all linens needed for a peaceful nights sleep. The linens and accessories are a cut above the normal vacation rental condominium.

The living room opens to a large balcony where your Island Oasis awaits you; with a table and four chairs for your enjoyment of the great outdoors and to see all the great views of the amenities of bayside at Destin West. The balcony offers views of the bay also.

The convenience of the Lanai Level can not be beat as it is central to everything at Destin West. Right in front of the lazy river, just a short walk to the bridge to take you to the beach, very close to the hot tubs, the pool deck for the lazy river and heated pool. It was our intent to include everything needed for your fun filled and relaxed vacation in this small package.

Relax by the Gulf-side Pool, soak in one of the whirlpool spas, or enjoy an amazing sunset! This LANAI floor unit is beautiful as it over looks the unsurpassed amenities such as the Award Winning Lazy River with a spectacular waterfall!

Destin Area Information
Destin is well known as the World’s Luckiest Fishing Village largely because of it roots as a top fishing destination and quick access to deep waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Destin boasts the largest charter fishing fleet in the state of Florida. If you have an interest in charter deep sea fishing – Destin is the place. But, there is much more to Destin than charter fishing. Destin has evolved over the years to be a top beach vacation destination. Featuring sugar white sand beaches and emerald colored water, it is an absolutely beautiful area. The town itself offers many upscale shopping, dining, and entertainment opportunities.

We had a good experince, the amemties are great and the variety of pools was goodm there is no beach equipment or chaira so we didnt spend Had we known we would have brought chairs with us. Overall great experience would stay there again.much time over there.

Good condo/good value. Close to where we needed to be

Our boys were staying at the Island ( hotel across the street) with boys high school baseball team. This condo was a perfect location close to them so we could meet for dinners. Area undergoing a lot of road construction. Unit itself was nice. The grill did not work. We had to use the charcoal grill by the pool. This was frustrating. As we were planning to grill more of our meals. It did say that guests were responsible for refilling the tank. If you emptied it. But the grill was not in good shape and the tank did not feel empty. We were not convinced that was the problem.

Everything was great except for a few minor things.

Everyone loved the lazy river. We love being at the bottom unit and having the river right outside our door. It was very convenient a few things that were a little annoying where the Internet/phone service horrible and the bunkbed room has glass door on it so it doesn’t make much privacy to change, etc.. however, overall, we enjoy our stay.

Really nice time!

Thank you for a great week at Destin West Pelican 04! Overall, it was a fantastic week. We loved our condo- it was nicely decorated and, for the most part clean. The location was amazing- close to Fort Walton, Destin and 30A. The pool area was phenomenal. A few suggestions: remove the white chair in the living room and the dirty rugs in the kitchen. The supplies in the kitchen could be updated too. It was a conglomeration of a whole bunch of weird dishes-which did NOT affect my stay whatsoever. The patio could be updated a bit too- did not use the grill as we did not want to replace the gas for just a couple of meals. Perhaps, include the gas tank in the price? Finally, please supply more beach towels. We had a total of 2. This would have been a problem had we brought our kids along... Other than that, we would rave about this place. Thank you for the ease in checking in and out (the code provided for early check-in was the one that opened our door at 12 am- we were late, not early). We will likely return one day!!!

Great Vacation Spot

This place was very clean and easy to access. It's at the front and close to the beach walkway. The property manager was very helpful when we needed something. The host was very kind and nice especially when my teenage boys called for something. I love that they have a lazy river. The location was perfect a few minutes from Destin and Plubix Groceries was close by. The sleeping arrangement was great. I have 3 boys and they sleep in the bunk beds. Overall stay was great and relaxing.

Nice, but dated

Overall the unit that we stayed in was mostly clean. There was some normal wear that you expect (mildew staining on bathroom caulking, etc...). Maintenance wise the only issue we had was a threshold transition strip that wasnt glued or secured properly going into the small bunk bed room, and the condo painters used the outdoor sink to clean their brushes and never returned to clean the sink (definitely not a problem with the unit.). Everything else was great. The furnishings were older, as were the appliances, but truthfully we were only ever inside for a quick bite to eat, bathing, and sleeping. The beds were comfortable and the location right by the lazy river and hot tubs/pools was spectacular.

Very Cute and Comfy!

This place was so nice we CB enjoyed the comfortable beds and the place was clean, it’s older but they have done a great job with decor to make it cozy! Was A little disappointed with the upkeep of pools and lazy river was cloudy and dirty. That is on the HOA not the condo owner but thought they should know upkeep is not good!

Vacation spot

It was a great place to stay especially sense half the price of other spots in area lots of space, kitchen washer and dryer. Would’ve been a great place for our kids to come also.
