“Ok, we admit it. We travelers from the USA are spoiled when it comes to hotel accommodations. While traveling in Europe, we can manage, quaint, tight rooms with tiny baths and showers, but after a couple weeks, you need a break. MacClean House in Ft. William was welcomed relief. Exceptionally clean and newly renovated, we spread out in a large king bedroom with sitting area and a spacious (by local standards) bath with a nice soaking tub. Check in, while a bit ‘digital age’-ish was efficient...

“Hands down our best room in Scotland! The room & bathroom were spacious, immaculate, and warmly decorated. Everything you might possibly need was provided - a plethora of complimentary snacks & beverages, wonderful local soaps & lotions, a hair dryer (lacking in 2 of our previous rooms). Small little kindnesses like a tiny flashlight attached to the room key & umbrellas provided in the room , lots of hanging & hook space. It was just a lovely lovely room with numerous extras that set it...
