Piano terra: soggiorno / sala da pranzo con travi a vista, portefinestre e pavimento in legno. Cucina. Primo piano: 3 camere da letto: 1 matrimoniale con bagno privato con doccia, WC e accesso tramite ripide scale a 1 doppia con soffitti inclinati, 1 doppia con bagno privato con vasca, attacco doccia e servizi igienici. A soli 2 minuti a piedi dalla banchina e dallo splendido porto di Fowey, questo delizioso cottage dal carattere nel cuore del vecchio villaggio offre due bagni e un giardino interno. Riflessivamente arredato e attrezzato, è la base ideale e rilassante per le vacanze. Circondato da una terra NT con paesaggi costieri mozzafiato, Polruan è un villaggio pittoresco e incontaminato con due eccellenti locande e una spiaggia sabbiosa. Frequenti traghetti attraversano il fiume fino alla storica città di Fowey con i suoi vari ristoranti, negozi e gallerie. Gite in barca a vela / fiume disponibili. Progetto Eden a sole 6 miglia. Negozio del villaggio 10 metri.

Fairmaiden is a lovely cosy cottage; with lovely thought to all the little details to make it feel like a special place to stay. The location is great with easy access to Fowey and fantastic beaches like Lantivet and Lantic Bay. Would recommend this cottage and will certainly be back again to stay. Thanks!

This is the second time we’ve been to Fairmaiden and we love it.

This is the second time we’ve been to Fairmaiden and we love it. The minute we walk in it feels like home. I’ve only given a lower score for amenities as they were reduced due to COVID restrictions. Normally you can get by quite easily with what is there and Fowey is just a short ferry hop away with much more should you need it. We just love to take long coastal walks and then toast ourselves by the fire with maybe a drink or two, Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Really lovely cottage, ideal for us, a family of 4 adults. Very clean, extremely well equipped kitchen with lots of baking items (this is what often lets a property down, especially for smaller numbers). Plenty of logs supplied to get the wood burner going. Two bathrooms were perfect and we used a bed in the attic which had wonderful views. Excellent communication from the host with detailed information about parking and amenities. The cottage is on a steep hill but excellent for getting you fit! We even had a welcome cake which didn’t last very long, a really nice touch. What a lovely cottage! Cosy and welcoming.

What a lovely cottage! Cosy and welcoming. It looks just like the photos which isn’t always the case!! It is equipped with everything you need. We both love to cook and generally find holiday homes lacking some kitchen essentials - not this one! Polruan is lovely, much quieter than Fowey, but only a couple of minutes away on the ferry if you want some bright lights. The only slight (and I mean slight) downside is that it’s tucked away in a corner, so not much light but it’s so cosy that hardly matters. What a fabulous cottage in beautiful Polruan! The location couldn’t be better - just a few yards from the local shop, 2 lovely bakeries, 2 pubs and the water! The cottage was spotlessly clean and very well-equipped. We couldn’t have asked for more. Lovely and cool in summer and I can imagine how cosy it would be with the log burner in winter. Delightful Christmas Break

This is a traditional Cornish cottage in a great location which is beautifully furnished and decorated. The hostess had gone to a great deal of trouble to set up festive decorations, and it was so thoughtful to have a Christmas card and home made cake to greet our arrival. With its log fire and proximity to an excellent pub, it was everything we could have hoped for as a holiday getaway.

Perfectly located and brilliantly appointed

We had the most wonderful stay at Fairmaiden. Perfectly located on the main Street of Polruan we felt a part of village life. The cottage is very comfortably and we'll appointed with everything you could think to need. We enjoyed a mix of staying in to eat at home and watch a film and going out to the small pubs in the area all in easy distance. The courtyard is brilliant for catching the afternoon sun. We'll definitely be back !

We absolutely loved staying at Fairmaiden.

We absolutely loved staying at Fairmaiden. We have stayed in many cottages across Cornwall over the years & this is definitely one of the very best. We are a family of 4 & there was lots of space throughout the house & it was decorated so beautifully & filled with lots of lovely things really making it feel very homely. After long walks all day, a couple of drinks at the local pub & then back to relax in front of the fire. Perfect! The coastal walks around the village were just stunning. We will definitely return next year!

This is a lovely cottage. Suited us perfectly. Polruan is a great place. A little isolated by road but on foot using the ferry it is excellent.
