Great stay

Family Vacation
This is the second year we came to this house. It's always perfectly clean! The stay is amazing every time. They redid the stairs outside which was great! We rented a pontoon and they let us use their donut. It was a lot of fun. Hopefully, we can do this again next year!

Wonderful Location; Lovely Home
Four adults and three kiddos had plenty of room and LOTS of fun. Jumping off the pier and the swim mat were a huge hit. We also really enjoyed a campfire on the deck. There was plenty of wood provided. The house is clean and has enough space that everyone could find a spot for a little down time. Bring your own beach towels, but there are life vests in all sizes available. Be prepared to sweep away cobwebs outside, but that definitely shouldn't spoil your stay. We had a wonderful time. A big thank you to the hosts for sharing their home with us.

Great place!
The house is spacious and has plenty to do even on a rainy day. Loved having a dock for our boat and for swimming off of! They had everything we needed and more for a great holiday!

Awesome Spot
This place is HUGE! Everything was so clean and open, they had games available and a boat rental less than 5 minutes away which was perfect for fishing. Loads of Fishing poles and life vests. This place was perfect. The stairs outside the pier are a little wonky, but I think every lakehouse is like that. 100/100 would stay here again and recommend it to someone.

Wonderful location, responsive host
Perfect location for a great time. We stayed the weekend and are considering booking again in the summer months. The property is on the lake and it looks like that would be a blast for the kids in the summer. They also have a game room if the weather doesn't cooperate.

50th Anniversary family celebration
This lake house was all that we expected. It slept our 12 - 6 adults & 6 grandkids. Eric was terrific - quick to respond & easy to work with. Weather was cooler than we expected but we were all in the water a lot and when not, the lake house offered enough to keep everyone very happy. There was plenty of space to spread out. The grandkids loved the lily pad and paddle boat. The location was great.

The best lake home I have ever stayed at in the midwest! Great lake views from many different vantage points. Comfortable newly updated home. Great kitchen and several tables to dine. Fantastic sunsets!

Great weekend getaway.
We rented this property to celebrate our daughters 10th birthday with family and it didn't disappoint. The views from the property where beautiful. The game room kept all ages entertained. Was able to watch some Cubs games on the Marquee Sports Network which was an unexpected bonus. The owners were very responsive to any questions. Highly recommend.

Amazing hosts and property
The pictures show the beauty of this property but in person we were blown away. The house itself has so much space to entertain and relax with a large group comfortably. Being on the water and the views from within the house was so relaxing. The screened in deck was perfect for the rainy weekend. The hosts were amazing as well and so quick to respond to any questions. We had a girls weekend during the spring and all agreed we would love to come back during the summer.

Relaxing spring break
We enjoyed our stay at the cabin, the kids had a ball hanging out on the deck and on the lakeshore. Kelly and Eric were super nice and took care of lol our requests. We hope to be returning soon.

Enjoyable stay @ the lake!!!!
Lake house was relaxing and spacious. My family and I enjoyed every minute. The view of the sunset was breathtaking. Owners were easily accessible. Will recommend this location to family and friends. My family will definitely return in the near future.

Lots of space and lake views!
This was a perfect place to escape to during winter. My family was comfortable and entertained. There was plenty of space for multiple families and accommodations for all ages. Very clean! We hope to come back and enjoy the summer months!

Great Long Weekend in Fox Lake!
We rented this house for our group of 10 and it was absolutely perfect! Eric and Kelly were SO responsive to my questions leading up to the visit and while we were there, which we so appreciate. The house was very clean and well-kept, modern on the inside, and had everything we needed. Here are some of our favorite things about the rental: -The solo stove for bonfires that can be used on the deck is awesome! We used it several times and it was very convenient and easy to use. -Love the game room - we got a lot of use out of this awesome space in the evenings-The gazebo was great and we really enjoyed sitting out there enjoying the view!-There is tons of seating in and outside the house - the big table on the deck was great and we loved the big dining table for our large group to all eat dinner together.-There were a lot of beach towels at the house which was great -There was a nice float to use in the water and the big floating mat was a hit!-The kitchen was nice and big and we loved that there was a double oven!!!!-The house was stocked with a lot of useful items (particularly in the kitchen) like coffee/coffee filters, saran wrap, ziploc bags, scissors, big serving platters, basic spices, olive oil, etc. We also did a pontoon rental with Jet Funn Rentals one day that we were that which was fun and reasonably priced.  Overall the house was perfect and was in a great location and we'd definitely rent it again! Thank you Eric and Kelly!

Fantastic Family Adventure Location
While the weather did not cooperate for our ski trip to Wilmot, this house was a perfect place for 7 adults and 3 kids. The open layout made it so easy for us to enjoy meals together, cook together, and there was plenty to keep the kids (of all ages) busy. It was so nice for all to have a place to sleep and relax. We can't wait to come back in the summer to enjoy the lake. Thanks to Kelly for her awesome communication and flexibility!

Awesome time!!
Was a seamless trip for us! Eric & Kelly provided local recommendations and were so accommodating with check out time. Loved the house - super clean and so much space to spread out. Lots of games, pool table, ping pong and darts. Amazing views of the lake too! We definitely will consider renting again with them.

Fabulous in every way. Only strong suggestion is to upgrade old pots and pans. They are way beyond their time and unhealthy for cooking.

A perfect get away in a suburban neighborhood
We had a small family gathering with 7 adults and 4 kids of different ages. It’s a wonderful place to stay with a great view. We had so much fun. Everything was so close by and at the same time we had a laid back feel. The grill on the deck was very well kept and we enjoyed grilling food watching over the lake. We loved the view from the back of the house. The Gazebo was nice to sit out and relax. We were really thankful for all the board games and kids activities inside the home which came really handy for us to keep the kids engaged with minimal parenting. It had kept the kids busy for the weekend when they stayed indoor. There were lot of outdoor activities close by too. A perfect place in the suburban Neighborhood.

Perfect getaway lake house!
Eric and Kelly are incredibly gracious hosts and the house is perfect for a family or friend retreat. With a cozy lakeside gazebo, stunning views, fun activities like pool and darts, and being walking distance away from an awesome restaurant and bar, this has everything you could need for a fun and relaxing vacation. I can not recommend the house and our hosts enough.

Hello Dennis, thank you for your review of our property! The downstairs bedroom door was removed at the time of your stay to replace the carpet and had not been refitted to the frame yet. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you. The door has since been replaced and all bedrooms have doors.

Family Vacation
The property was perfect for our vacation with 2 families and 5 kiddos 5 and under! Kelly, the owner, was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. The open floor plan was wonderful and the house was fully stocked with all the necessities and so clean! The kids and adults had a great time in the water and on the beautiful decks overlooking the lake. The boat rental and Mexican restaurant were both within walking distance and so convenient. We highly recommend renting!

Lots of space for extended family
I just spent a lovely weekend at the house with my siblings and their families ( ages 4-65). There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax ! The decks, the gazebo, the dock, the pool table and dart board all made for lots of multi- generational fun. The kitchen was spacious and well-equipped. Its always great to have hare washer dryer on a lake vacation. The house was super -clean and the owners were really nice and accommodating.

Awesome place to stay!!!!!
We had a party of 8 people and staid there for some time - house is very roomy, was more then enough space for us. Also LOVED an open floor plan - from the kitchen and dining area you can see the lake and even tough everybody were doing their own stuff - playing pool, watching TV, playing cards upfront - it still felt like we are all in the same room and that was cool! Driveway is pretty big and we parked 5 cars there with no issues at all! I would definitely like to rent it again! Would highly recommend! Thank's a lot!

Great Place!
We had a wonderful stay in Fox Lake - perfect for a girls weekend. There was lots of space to spread out! The kitchen could have been stocked a little better, there were not a lot of bowls, baking dishes, pans, etc. Otherwise it was a perfect little place for a retreat!

Great place for a family getaway!
The house is beautiful and spacious in a lovely, wooded setting right on Fox Lake. We enjoyed the close access to Wilmot Mountain and other recreation in the area. This was the perfect place to take our adult kids over the holidays. The hosts had everything we needed for a great stay.

The house was perfect for a holiday get together for our family of 11
The house was clean and fresh as it seemed newly finished and the carpet throughout was new. It was a spacious house to handle our family of 6 adults and 5 children. For meals the large dining table could accommodate all of us. A full size pool table was a big hit with the kids and kept everyone busy. The owners answered our text right away and were very helpful getting the TV channels we wanted setup. Being there in late Nov. did not allow for lake usage but the view and use in the summer would be great. Nice screened gazebo would be well-used in summer. I would definitely return to this house in the future.

Beautiful location on the Chain of Lakes. Huge deck, great community living space and rec room!
This home was great for a small family reunion. The owner was wonderful in her communications with us. She replied to our questions immediately which was very helpful. There is a great gazebo and large deck overlooking the lake. The living spaces in this home were fabulous! Plenty of room to gather and play games. Nice pool table too!
