“We had a side sea view room, clean and well maintained. Great room. Breakfasts good with top class ingredients. We ate once for the evening meal. The food was pricey and quality was poor. Overall a really good hotel with great staff and exceptionally clean.”

“The staff were very helpful and friendly . The breakfast was good . We were on the top floor , up 47 steps , in the property next door but one . There wasn’t a lift and to be fair we hadn’t stated that we couldn’t manage stairs , which we could but perhaps not so many! There was an unpleasant drain smell in the bathroom .”

“Old but fair hotel. rooms small, clean but with extremely poorly equipped very small and not so functional bathrooms. Staff was kind, room was serviced ok, breakfast acceptable though very slowly prepared. Ok for very short leisure stays. I would not reccomend it for business trips or for long stays.”

“We booked a superior room with a sea view. It was everything you could want. The view over the water was superb. The fit out was great. The convenience to the ferry terminal was great as was the access to the bus. The breakfast basket was as comprehensive as we have ever had and satisfied our requirements excellently. As for Isle of Man, we did not know what to expect but it far exceeded our expectations, The steam train, the vintage electric railway, the train up the mountain and horse drawn...
