Poor management - Friday evening we found the internet was not working (one person must be able to be reached by phone so this was a problem but there is a landline so that number was provided as a back up). Also the hottub had been turned off and it wasn't warm again until the next night. We used the landline to call the management company and report the internet - never received a return call. Saturday morning the local property manager called my cell while we were in town. He said it was the owners who had been at the property and turned off the hot tub. He said he would be there after 3pm to look at the internet. We were gone for the day and I asked him to update me after he checked it out. I also explained that my son, who is a navy, is on call 24/7 and really needed the internet to receive messages while we were at the cabin as there was no phone service. I never heard back, even after reaching out at 6pm. It didn't appear anyone had been at the house and the internet was still not working. You should also know one of the barstools is broken, and all the slats in the bottom of the small futon in the basement are broken. In general the visible parts of the house were clean but when you look for missing socks or an empty outlet, you can see dead bugs, dust, and small pieces of trash around the furniture. And one last thing, the back door to the kitchen was unlocked when we arrived. We wouldn't have noticed it but we mistook that for the front door.
