FAMILY FRIENDLY GETAWAY PERFECT FOR 2 FAMILIES / 2 story home / 1 bed 1 bath upstairs / 2 beds 1 bath downstairs with a small kitchenette

Private 2 story home, surrounded by trees, and amazing views! Perfect place to escape reality and unwind! The HOT TUB and outdoor grilling/fire pit both offer a much needed break from regular routines. Family friendly and over 3000 square feet. Plenty of space and very quiet!

Sit in the hot tub and enjoy the amazing mountain views. Enjoy peace and quiet! This home is nestled in a cove surrounded by numerous trees. You almost feel as if you are sitting in a treehouse. Enjoy the amazing views from upstairs decks. You may get lucky and watch the wildlife come through early in the morning and sometimes at dusk. The upstairs of the home has plenty of space for family gatherings and 2 decks. Both decks are equipped with outdoor furniture for your pleasure. This is a PRIVATE home with one small property adjoining separated by a tree line(This property is my NC vacation home. We stay at the beach as much as possible, but there will be times we are in Franklin). This is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Endless views and privacy are just the beginning! We are located minutes from downtown Franklin.

This home is located minutes from many breweries and eateries in Franklin. Shop on Main Street and visit the historical buildings downtown. Beautiful waterfalls and hiking trails less than 20 minutes away. Tube & kayak rentals available within fifteen minutes! See elk thriving in the Great Smoky National Park! Both Cherokee and Murphy casinos are less than an hour away. We suggest taking a ride to Highlands and stopping at the waterfalls. Highlands offers great restaurants, attractions, and amazing shopping. Please see guest welcome book located on kitchen counter with welcome kit. This has detailed information on some of the best local breweries, eateries, shopping, and more!

Large beautiful home close to natures wonders

Super spacious home. Close to waterfalls, beautiful downtown Franklin. A short drive to Bryson city. Room to be together as a family and enough rooms for privacy. Hot tub was great. Comfortable beds and linens. Great communication with property manager. We loved it had toiletries provided! So quiet and peaceful. We recommend this home to all ages. We look forward to booking here again!

Our stay in Franklin NC

We had problems with the internet and TV but MS Mandy helped us get on the internet and brought us a new TV. It is a beautiful house with excellent views! We would recommend more living room furniture and light kits on the ceiling fans for better lighting. We loved our stay :) Thanks Tom and Anna

Girls Trip

Wonderful home. Light switches were a little confusing, but we figured it out. The view was beautiful. Beds were amazing along with some particular towels provided. I have no regrets about renting the s property for our 2024 gem mining trip.

Peaceful Mountain Retreat

Had a great stay at Daniel's beautiful mountain property! Spectacular views, and a very clean, spacious home. It was a short drive to hiking trails and a quiet place to relax.

Great little spot

Ease of the drive up to the house was great. Not complicated at all, which was great. The house was more than big enough for our small family. The kitchen is the most well stocked kitchen we have ever had from a rental. It is secluded and the views were beautiful. Also enough towels and linens to last you more than your length of stay. This house literally has Everything that you can think of except your groceries. Great communication with our host Mandy. Very responsive and couldn't be more thankful for that.

Outstanding spacious home

I recently stayed at this lovely home and was thoroughly satisfied with its location and the amount of space it provided. The property was conveniently situated near the town, making it highly accessible. The home was incredibly spacious and the downstairs kitchen space was very convenient. Communication with the owner was excellent, as I received an almost immediate response to my query. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this vacation rental by owner to others.

Outstanding!

The lodging was fantastic! Fantastic accommodations with all the necessary amenities. The view was simply breathtaking! The grill and the fire pit were wonderful! I must admit the gravel road was a little intimating at first but after the initial drive I became quite good at navigating the curves. We did see wildlife in the near roads and the Humming birds were a real treat. Based on what I have said we will see you again! Thanks for creating such a wonderful and relaxing paradise!

Even better than advertised

Pine Valley Lookout Retreat is simply a wonderful mountain getaway. The view from the deck goes on forever. The cabin is new, very well appointed, and clean clean clean. One gets the impression nobody has ever stayed here before its so clutter free. An quiet! Not only is there not another house in view (except across the valley) we never heard a dog, an engine, a siren, only the occasional airplane and the sound of the Forth of July automatic weapons fire and fireworks from the locals off in the distance. The mattresses were very comfortable, all expected kitchen equipment was provided and the grill even had an extra full gas tank. The entry road is packed gravel and dirt and wasn't very challenging, just stay on it. Once you take your position on the deck, you may never want to leave. We plan to stay here again soon.

Million dollar mountain view in a comfortable home

Lovely newish home with a great view of the Blue Ridge. Lots of amenities, clean, with a good layout, particularly for two couples. The mountain drive up is a bit daunting, but the location is worth it. Slow satelite internet, so be aware.

2nd stay

This was our 2nd time staying here and just as the first time it was perfect! Franklin is a great town to spend time in and this cabin is the perfect spot with a perfect view. Can’t wait to return again!

Awesome and Homey!

Upon arrival at the house, I immediately was comfortable and felt at home. Everything was clean, all accommodations thought of including coffee for the first morning as well as dish soap and laundry soap too. We enjoyed the view and the layout of the house and the house is so well built and insulated. it was cold outside but warm and dry inside. the TV and wifi worked great and the Gas fireplace was awesome too. the beds were wonderful too. Recommend this place highly.!!!!

The trip we will remember.

The experience was great! The drive was a little sketchy going up the first time, but it was so worth it. I definitely wouldn't recommend a small car by no means. The owners were very quick at responding. The house was just what we needed. My 5 year old enjoyed snow tubing at Scaly Mountain! We will be back!

THE VIEWS & TRANQUILITY!

We loved our stay at Pine Valley Lookout Retreat. When first arriving we were taken in by the spectacular mountain views. The instructions to get to the home and access to the inside were just as described, we had no problems. The house is beautiful and has everything you need, and more. Again, the views from inside and outside this home are just spectacular. We loved the outdoor fire pit and had a fire every night while staying, this was my husband's favorite activity. The tranquility is everything here, no neighbors (that you see), no noise, just what we needed while visiting; a break from the everyday hustle and bustle. On our last night it snowed and we woke up to a winter wonderland, we loved it, and how pretty everything looked with the sun glistening off the snow. We really appreciated staying at this home and plan to return again soon. Thank you for offering such a beautiful place in such a peaceful location. A&J

We stayed there for three nights. The drive up was an adventure, but the view from the balcony forth it! Beautiful clean, modern, comfortable house! We will definitely come back!
