"" Glory Days "è un'incredibile casetta di legno del 1800 restaurata, autentica, unica nel suo genere sul LITTLE TENNESSEE RIVER a Franklin, NC. Cinque minuti a 5 GRANDI MIGLIORI GEMME. Questa è una cabina a due piani. Completamente arredato in stile americano con un comodo letto matrimoniale e 2 letti singoli in schiuma. Questa cabina ha anche una cucina completa e zona pranzo, bagno completo con vasca tipo piede artiglio e doccia. Zona giorno. ha soffitti di 9 piedi che rendono questa cabina più spaziosa di quanto si pensi. WIFI e Smart TV .. Puoi nuotare, pescare o pescare dal cortile sul retro di questa cabina. La buca per il fuoco è ottima per radunarsi e concludere la giornata con smores notturne e osservare le stelle .. Se stai cercando un'esperienza rinfrescante riposante, questo è il posto giusto. Un po 'di paradiso in terra. Lo scenario da solo è curativo per i sensi. Goditi l'altalena del portico posteriore e i bilancieri mentre guardi il fiume (noto per essere uno dei fiumi più puliti nella parte occidentale del Nord). Splendide viste sul grande fiume da ogni angolo del parco. Ho detto che questo posto era BELLISSIMO!Ottimo posto per la famiglia DIVERTENTE, viaggi di nozze, fughe, osservare le stelle, qualcosa per tutti. Privato ma non remoto. Facilmente accessibile e vicino alla maggior parte delle attrazioni di Smoky Mountain
Ideale per una coppia o famiglia con uno o due bambini piccoli. Ci sono passaggi fino alla camera da letto.

Loved the cabin but…

Just a few remarks…We ABSOLUTELY loved the cabin and River!!! Biggest negatives were 1. LONG grass made it annoying to enjoy outdoor area. 2. Afternoon we arrived it was HOT in cabin, especially downstairs. Needs a window unit downstairs, especially for summer . We cooled it down in the evening with our box fan and open doors both evenings and mornings. Grateful for the two fans provided, we moved one upstairs. 3. We are older….could have used more light upstairs. 4. The WiFi was very spotty and no phone service for us . Difficult to watch tv at night. Rebooted router couple times and that helped. Everything else was GREAT!!! Would definitely recommend but would forewarn about the “things” mentioned.

Perfect getaway

The cabin was lovely and meticulously maintained. The inside is absolutely gorgeous. The property owner was incredibly responsive both before our trip and upon our arrival. This made for the perfect romantic getaway for two.

Rustic cabin get away

If you like The Rustic cabin you'll love this place to stay the only problem we had is if you are a larger person extra large or larger you won't be able to sit on the toilet the toilet sits right up to the tub you won't be able to put your legs in front of you that was the only problem

Perfect for 2

We had a lovely stay. Loved sitting on the porch swing listening to the river. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen was equipped for cooking small meals. The bedroom and bathroom can be a bit of a challenge for the big and tall guest. Not extremely quiet and secluded. Once you figure out how to recline the couch its more comfortable (handle inside the left and right side cushions). Enjoyed ourselves and would stay again.

Outstanding!

Outstanding host! Glory days is truly a little slice of historic heaven. Cozy, private cabin with all the necessities. I can’t stress enough how great the hosts and their company are. They have your best interests at heart and are available when needed. We enjoyed toasty fires in the fire pit, fishing and local gem mines the most.

Went there for our honeymoon ! The place was very cozy & just perfect for what we wanted. Fairly private, right on the river, beautiful scenery & we caught a fish !! Stairs going to the bedroom are a bit tricky but blend perfectly with the cabin. Cabin was spotless and had everything we needed. We will return !!! *****

Birthday get away

Adorable little cabin along the river. Very quaint, clean and well maintained. Had everything we needed. Stairs to bedroom are rustic and a little tricky at night. Would have enjoyed a picnic table or porch table for outdoor eating. Highly recommend for a couples getaway

A GREAT Get Away!

Glory Days is a great place for a get away. Belinda was wonderful and very helpful. Loved the rustic cabin from the 1800's. We relaxed, enjoyed the river, the fire pit, and the small town of Franklin. We will definitely be back!

Great, but...

Situated off of a very busy main road, although not too disturbing at night. Very clean, but awkward arrangements of furniture and bathroom setup. Tap water has funny taste, although safe. Would have been nice to have A/C turned on prior to arrival.

peaceful getaway

The property is just as listed. It is small which was great for a couple. Close to the river gave easy access for fishing. The two houses "nearby" were far enough away for quiet outdoor sitting. Road was a little noisy but settled down in evening like any other place. Bathroom is a little tight as the pictures shown so no surprises. Managed to figure out the gas stove and not burn dinner so gold star for me!! Franklin was nice and we strolled the street. Drove to Highlands, saw some waterfalls and hiked in the forest on the way back. Roads were not bad at all, little curvy in spots but attentive driving and all well. Easy drive to Bryson City to catch the train, again little curvy but not bad. Recommend for a quiet couple getaway.
